Treat - HK!Michael Myers x Reader
You share your candy haul with Michael.
Soft. Fluffy shit. I'm trying to harness my thirst for 2021 Old Man Myers into a good smut, but for now, have this disgustingly sweet drabble. This helped take my mind off the awful work day I have to face tomorrow, so hope everyone else enjoys. Soft Michael rights!!!
Michael lays beside you on the bed. He had compromised and allowed an actual, sophisticated bed inside the old Myers house, headboard and all, provided the mattress was hard. And he meant rock solid- when you finally brought one home he approved of, it felt like laying on a brick. You suppose it reminded him of the bed at Smith's Grove. Maybe he just didn't like letting himself relax. Whatever his reasoning, you don't like to think on it too long, as the truth would probably make you sad... and Michael doesn't like it when you're sad.
Tonight you had dressed up and gone trick or treating- yes, you, a fully grown adult, had gone out in costume and asked for candy at doorsteps. The thing with Haddonfield was, everybody here loved Halloween. Michael's spree 40 years ago was too long ago for most to remember, yourself included, and though he killed again every Halloween to get it out of his system, nobody seemed to connect the dots.
But pumpkins remained out on porches, candy remained as abundant as falling leaves and costumes were always creative. That's another thing about your sleepy little town of Haddonfield that you love; the unbreakable spirit. People in this town couldn't care less if adults dressed up and participated in the trick or treat. It was all part of the season.
Which brings you to the pumpkin pail full of candy between you and Michael. He stares down at it. You take out a chocolate bar, and hand it to him. He crushes it in his fist, and hands it back.
"You've made your point," you mutter, opening the wrapper and letting the crumbs slide into your mouth. "Have you ever eaten Halloween candy?"
Michael nods his head slowly.
"Like candy, from Halloween night?" Michael tilts his head to the side. Obviously not. "It just hits different on Halloween. Here, try this." You hand him a lollipop. He looks at it for a moment, then smashes it against the wall with ridiculous strength, handing you back the shattered candy in the wrapper. You sigh.
"Fine. Be like that. More for me." You give him the cold shoulder, flipping over to dig into your bowl of treats.
You can feel his silent stare on your back, boring holes into you. He's likely confused, surprised and more than a little irritated, trying to figure out why you're doing this. His shadow is blocking the moonlight from the window, so you know he's still sitting fully up. The bed doesn't shift. He doesn't move a muscle. You know the fucker is waiting for you to give in and turn back around like you always do, but he's not winning this time.
You hum to yourself as you unwrap some M&Ms, popping one in your mouth as you ignore him. Michael's breathing is getting louder under his mask, and you have to grin. He's getting frustrated. He spends another few seconds glaring at you, before you feel a shift in the bed. You expect he's standing up and walking out on you, as he always does when he's frustrated. You likely won't see him again tonight, and 3 more bodies will end up on the news later.
Surprising you instead, his hand settles on your shoulder. You try to keep it together as every instinct tells you to keen into the feeling. The touch is so soft, and it warms you that he's actually making an effort to stay this time. But, you want to see how far you can take this. He starts to rub his strong hand up and down your arm and massage it, just how you told him you liked before. You bite your lip, going back to your haul.
You pull out a full length chocolate bar, and Michael sees it from over your shoulder. How could you still be paying attention to your candy and not him? Did his rare show of affection mean nothing to you?!
His hand tightens on your shoulder and he suddenly jerks you over onto your back violently, snatching the offending bar from your hands with a grunt. You watch as he pulls out his knife and drops the bar down on the bed. Your heart starts to beat faster... maybe you went too far in ignoring him. He lifts the knife, brings it down and you scream, shutting your eyes tight. When you open them, he's cut not you, but the bar in half. Michael hands one half to you, and begins to unwrap his nonchalantly.
In lifting up his mask just barely over his lips to eat the chocolate, he exposes his faint white stubble and scar on the right side of his jaw. It melts your heart just a little, and you swing your leg over his lap. He's halfway through eating the bar, but pauses to see what you're doing.
"You didn't think I wasn't going to take advantage of this, did you?" you smile, straddling him, and lean down to press your lips to his, wrapping your arms under his back in a hug. He drops the candy wrapper and his hands come up too, holding you seated on his lap, until he starts to trail them up your back as your kissing deepens. It feels good.
You know he doesn't like going without the mask for long, so you press a few more soft kisses to his exposed lips before lowering it for him. He leans his head down a bit, and buries it in your neck. You lay on his shoulder, listening to his quickened breathing from the kiss.
"Happy Halloween, Michael," you whisper in his ear. He gives your butt a little squeeze in return.
