Cuz I look at the tag often for the @find-me-at-x blog and at one point, there was 20 new post in one hour after that announcement. There was more traffic in the tag yesterday than there had been in PF’s entire existance and now there’s a gap from about 12 hours to 6 days ago. I haven’t dug through the DW or Twitter tag, but I wouldn’t be surprised to find the same garbage going on there, too.

Riiiiiiight. Ok. That’s the way to treat people when you want them to stay.

When the site becomes a ghost town in two weeks, this is why. Not because of the harrassment campaigns, or annoying porn bots spamming comments, or even the white nationalists and TERFs who ruin people’s lives–although that certainly makes it easier to walk away and purge this account for good once I’m through backing up my posts. No, it’s the obvious lack of fucks given about this company or the users here, the ones who have reported these issues for months. No site should be told to clean up goddamn CP. Fucking Christ, do I even need to explain why? (Here’s a hint: the wrong answer is “because Apple will boot us off the store if we don’t)

And you certainly shouldn’t be punishing the 99 percent of your userbase who wasn’t engaging in this for your incompetence.

I recently got wind of something going on involving a minor possibly being groomed, and regardless of what stand you have, we need to help them.

1. Elise, the mod in question, is 13 years old. She is saying that her caretaker is 28. If this was a teacher she saw at school that she could rely on, and that’s that, then this wouldn’t be an issue. But this is a personal relationship she is conveying, meaning they talk over texting/discord/tumblr, etc.

2. Seeing as this person possibly has control over her, and the fact that she mentions a few times that he will get angry at her if she tells others who she is, this further suggests that this is someone who is grooming her. Especially since this seems to be like dd/lg stuff going on here. I’m not here to talk about whether that kink is good or bad, but you cannot de-sexualize a kink, and especially you cannot be exposing that to a minor!

3. Even if they could somehow prove this wasn’t some sort of role similar to dd/lg, age regression is still harmful and should not be endorsed, speaking from a mental health standpoint. And the undertones make it sketchy at best.

4. The fact that he does not want her to tell means that yes, he knows he is doing something wrong and wants to do it anyways - and that is truly disgusting. He is praying on a girl who is already traumatized and using that to his advantage.

5. Even if all of this is debunked and they’re only speaking mutually? Still sketchy! I understand her talking to teenagers online, but someone over 30? No! That is not okay. That’s sketchy!

This is obviously causing her a great deal of stress, seeing as she has legitimately said she would kill herself.

Whoever did this, shipper or not - please reevaluate what you’re doing. You should take threats like this seriously!

However, I put this here to prove that they did make suicidal threats.

All in all, this is a horrible situation. I don’t know elise’s main blog, but if someone could share and possibly tell me what blog she has, please please please go and help her. Sadly, seeing as the lines are sketchy, I do not think this can be reported yet. But please do try and help this girl realize she is being groomed.

Elise, if you manage to read this, I want you to know that this is similar to how I was groomed, so let me tell you that yes, this is grooming. I am not making this to “call you out” or shame you. I just want to make sure you are okay, and so others can make sure you are okay too. This is nothing to be ashamed of on your end, you do not know any better, especially when you are being manipulated.

Shippers and antis alike, again, please work together for something that is harming an actual minor. This isn’t about fictional characters anymore. A girl might be at risk for harassment.

Bro I don’t know what else to tell you. I’ve been diagnosed with autism by several behavior specialists and psychologists since elementary school. I’ve also been diagnosed with ADHD, OCD and depression. I also have severe fucking anxiety. Stop bullying autistic people just because they can’t physically prove they are disabled. Not all disabilities are visible, and no one has to prove they have autism just because you don’t believe them. But hey, you want to believe I’m faking my disability? Fine. Tell that to my literal psychiatrist that prescribes my medication every month. Tell that to the countless fidget items and toys (not spinners, simply for the fact I know I would get made fun of for it) that i have to carry with me or I will legitimately chew my nails off or scratch my arms because I can’t focus. Tell that to the thousands my grandparents spend per year on my medical expenses and medication. Tell that to my therapist constantly developing new strategies to combat my symptoms of depression and to help me focus better in school because my ADHD is fucking b a d.
