Sakura was married to Madara due to political reasons when she was just a princess of Konohana. However she became leader of Konohana after Madara helping her  overthrow her greedy stepmother and stepbrother. And this scene is from the part after the violent confrontation between Madara and Hashirama.Hashirama won the fight but died of  massive trauma and blood loss. Madara was pierced through in chest but saved by Sakura and recover from his trauma. Madara secretly come back to Flame Fan province and prepare to defeat the new senju leader Tobirama. I love how the author describe Sakura and Madara’s relationship. Sakura once left Madara because political incoherence.Although they do love each other deeply. There had been a long time cold war between the ex-wife and ex-husband after Sakura one-sided divorced with Madara and go back to Konohan to rule.However Sakura came back for Madara and helped him recover from near-fatal injury.

After scrolling through numerous uchisaku posts, I was hit with the sudden urge to draw Indra and his reincarnations with their versions of Sakura. I regret. It’s now 1 am. I apologise in advance for any weird body proportions or angles because… Meh.
