As she listened to his reply, Leah sat herself back up and glared at him. “I’m making a mountain?!? Excuse you Allen! You don’t know how horrible this feels for me right now, you have no idea at all! This could be the worst thing for me, how can you say that?!?” Snapping back at him, she pushed the bedsheets off of her and climbed out of the bed. “I’m going to the bathroom.” Leah says, the look of anger all across her face as she turns around and heads in the direction of the door. “And as for talking to you before any of that? I don’t know. Maybe. Maybe not.” She didn’t mean it at all, this was definitely the anger talking.

“Allen.” Shaking her head at his response. “Talk? Talk about what? I don’t think talking is going to help anything. I’m trying to tell you here that I’m pretty sure I’m against us having a baby right now.” She bit her lip for a moment. “I feel it’s probably too soon and... I don’t know. It would just be a mistake.” She hated wording it like that, that their child would be a mistake, but it is what it is and Leah wasn’t going to sugarcoat anything; perhaps she wasn’t thinking, the worry getting to her and causing her to be a little insensitive about all of this. “I’m sorry Allen...”

A soft sigh fell from her lips, a hand moving to gently place it onto his cheek. Frowning as she listened to him, not expecting to be having this conversation so soon. Finally, her lips parted. “You won’t be angry right?” Leah paused, swallowing thickly. “...At me? If this turns out not the way we planned because, Allen I’m gonna be honest. I don’t know what I’d do. I— I, don’t even know if I’d want this.”

Hearing Allen’s words did sort of begin to reassure her, slightly. The burning worry still remained inside of her head however. Doubt. Was he just saying this to make her feel better? Was it really going to be something they’d be able to figure out and make it work? Settling her body back down beside him, she turned to face him. “Please. Don’t say this just to try and make me feel better, I want you to give me your honesty, like you always do.” She then took a deep breath in. “So what now?”

As soon as she felt the arm of his wrap around her shoulder, she flinched slightly, wanting to push it away from her but instead she let out a sigh. “Allen, we don’t know for sure. And that’s what’s bothering me, I feel so stupid right now that we don’t even know. I understand you’re trying to make me feel better, but the reality is. This happened, finished elsewhere or not, we don’t know for sure, and now I suppose we have to figure out some things, scenarios that potentially could happen from this that I didn’t want to talk about right now.” Glancing down at him, she bit her lip. “I’m scared Allen.”

Now that his hands were on her hips, cue a content Ashley. “Hmm... well. I suppose I am, it’ll do at least; for now.” Giving Allen a hard time was one of her most favorite things to do, and she knew exactly how to do it. “As for stubbornness, you’re literally the worst person I know for it.” With a light chuckle, she then gently moved in and placed a gentle peck on his lips. “Still think you should’ve took the ladder though, would’ve been pretty funny seeing you up there because you’re so small. Had there been a briefcase or a title hanging from the ceiling, I bet you wouldn’t of said no!”

”A grown ass man shouldn’t be acting like a child. You can’t win this one Allen, just take the L already.” Picking up that his hands had now been placed on his hips, she could tell that he was really trying hard to resist and it made her smirk. “Then why don’t you remove those hands from your hips and place them where you really want them.”

With her both hands still placed on the tops of his shoulders, she lightly smoothed her hands over them. “Punishing you because you deserved it. You do bad things; you get punished. That’s how it goes, right?” Ashley teased. “What’s not fair? I’m not doing anything sweetheart, am I not supposed to look at you now? I think you’re being a little too much now with this. Trying to make me out to be the wrongdoer here.”

Blinking with her blue eyes widening the more he spoke, her mouth parted and literally fell open. He really was going to play her at her own game like this? How dare he! “You can’t do that!” Ashley exclaimed, now pushing her tongue against her cheek, trying to hold in any frustrations that were beginning to build. “Only I can play that game, not Allen and... You deserved that. I haven’t done anything wrong!” Then walking towards him, she stood in front and pushed the hair back from the front of his shoulders and placed both her hands onto each side. With a sweet tone she’d ask, “Could you really do that to me?” Fluttering her eyelashes cutely at him.

Watching as he tried to touch the cobwebs with his rag, she couldn’t help but allow a burst of obnoxious laughter escape from her. “Sure, it looks like you’re handling it pretty well from what I’m seeing right now.” Continuing to laugh, a couple of snorts even came out! “Are you going to do anything about this meanness I’m being today? Because I’m sorry Allen, but you’ve been acting pretty silly. I think it’s pretty justified.”

”I mean, you would’ve did it to yourself if we’re being honest, I think I’d be able to get off without going to jail. It would be just too bad for you, sweetheart.” Giving him a shrug of her shoulders, she then smirked. “So. Uh. You going to dust away those cobwebs up there? Actually first. ...Should I grab you a cute little step ladder to stand on, since you’re a little on the short side? Don’t worry babe, I’ve got you.”
