but like? leggings are designed to cling to what you’ve got anyway, so why not accept the unisex nature of them? (or maybe the crotch seam gets in the way?)

IDK I think leggings for men are cool. I also don’t think most women’s leggings would fit a normal-sized man? The inseam could be a real issue for men who want leggings.

I dunno, the ones I’m wearing right now are super long on me, to the point where if I don’t scrunch them at the ankle then they’ll cover 3/4 of my foot. But that’s probably just because I’m short. I mean, if you’re buying leggings from Hot Topic or something they’d be short? Those are the only ones I’ve ever had that actually fall at the ankle on me.

Look at these dudes though xD A couple extra inches in length in leg lenth is not what they need. I just don’t get what the big deal is? Sometimes men and women like to wear the same types of clothes but it’s marketed, cut, and designed differently. There are men’s and women’s tee shirts, jeans, socks, sweat pants, all sorts of really average looking things, I don’t get what the big deal about “leggings, for men” is? (beyond the fact that people are wearing leggings to begin with and giving them bullshit names like “jeggings” and “meggings”). If these guys are like “wow, I want to wear stretchy shiny pants with prints on them too, but I don’t fit into what Forever21 is selling and I want to look like a wrestler instead of a middle school girl!” what’s the big freakin deal?

I dunno what deal you’re making there out to be? because I’m sure not against men in leggings. the only thing I really dislike is just the “meggings” name, really. It’s like calling a mens’ handbag a “murse”, like just using/liking those things (whether they’re cut the same or not) is inherently degrading and have to be quantified with a bro-ification of the name to feel less emasculating. But I still don’t understand how you’re taking everything I’m saying out of context, I feel like you’re trying to pick a fight?
