Maybe it's because of OPLA having Zoro only using Santoryu sparingly, like...let's think about that.

Season 01

Episode 01 - Once against Morgan near the end of the fight

Episode 05 - Once for when he used Sanzen Sekai against Mihawk

...And that's it. Two episodes in Season 01 showed Zoro using Santoryu. I will say that it seemed like Zoro teased Sham and Buchi in Episode 4 before putting Wado back in her scabbard. Like, to him, they weren't worthy of experiencing Santoryu.

Season 02

Episode 03 - Once for his Tastumaki move (at least I think it's Tatsumaki)

Episode 05 - Once for when he cut down Mr. 5

Again, only two episodes.

I don't remember where I read this (be it here on Tumblr or on TVTropes), but there was a line where it said the rare used of Santoryu can be more of a strategic choice depending on where Zoro's fight is gonna go and how he was going to approach it. Sorta like how when he was fighting Morgan, he positioned Wado so the blade is facing back for when Zoro has Morgan trapped and ready for Luffy's Gum Gum Whip.

i personally think the scene of her choosing to save usopp even though he was considered her enemy at that point highlights the type of person vivi is, as well as the change for her to share the truth about crocodile until the end works a lot better with how closely she held everything she was going through to her chest (im also really curious about how differently robin will be portrayed during alabasta given she had a larger role pre-alabasta than she did in the manga)
