And one day, she got 2 new very special dolls, living dolls. They were drones, animal drones to be specific, robots made to have animal-like features, made to be pets for humans.

She loved her new pets, Suzie and Janice, Suzie had purple eyes and hair and was meant to resemble some sort of feline, Janice on the other hand had more dog-like features along with yellow eyes and white hair.

Valerie adored everything about her new dolls, she enjoyed dressing them up in the most gorgeous outfits, parading and showing them off to her peers, but their was a problem.

Suzie. While Janice was docile and obedient, Suzie the opposite, she was defiant, feral, and violent. She bit, she scratched, she hissed and snarled.

Not that big of deal though, Valerie knew exactly what to do. Along with the drones her parents have gifted her a crate and muzzle, incase anything got out of hand.

Anytime Suzie acted out, Valerie muzzled and caged her.

But fated one day, Suzie escaped, Valerie was heartbroken and mad, how dare her pet leave her? She gave her a home she gave her clothes and shelter and this is how she repays her?!

Valerie was fuming with rage, she needed a way to take out her anger, and she took it out on Janice.

She hit and screamed at Janice constantly, slaming her into the wall and yelling at her for seemingly no reason.

Janice was confused, not scared, not mad, confused.

She thought she was the favorite, the one Valerie never hurt, the favored one, so why was Valerie suddenly angry at her?

Janice was confused, distraught and dumbfounded, but she remained loyal and obedient, maybe she accidentally did something wrong and hadn't realized? there had to be a reason for Valeries violence, but for now all Janice could do was take the beatings, and wonder where Suzie was.
