support for a Palestinian state is growing and growing – internationally.
however, these many nations are recognising an extermination camp, not a state.
as for recent updates on the situation in Palestine, a ground invasion of Gaza City is underway, thousands have been massacred and hundreds of thousands have been forced into displacement once again.
atleast 57 people were massacred on thursday, september 25th, including children.
and on top of this, Al Jazeera reports that seven more hospitals & health facilities in Gaza City were forced to close in recent days due to heavy bombardments.
we could go on about numbers and statistics, but individual stories humanise Palestinians.
“ I feel like my memories are dissappearing and parts of me are shrinking, ”
– Sara Awad, 21 years old, english literature student from Gaza City.
on september 11th, Awad left her house in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood where she had lived for the past two decades. She moved to a tent in al-Zawayda, central Gaza.
Awad thought israel’s campaign to invade and take direct control of Gaza City was just a “ psychological war, ” never believing she would be forced out of her neighborhood or house.
“ I feel like israel is occupying me and killing me – not just my city. ”
on top ot this, Awad’s grandfather, Rafeeq, was 73 when he succumbed to cancer on october 21st 2023 due to the lack of vital treatment.

it is unknown how many have died due to lack of treatment for chronic & acute desises in Gaza since the Genocide began.
could you imagine being forced to leave your home, with nothing ?? no food, no medicine, – only memories, hopes and dreams ...
many also wish to leave to a ( hopefully ) safer area, but do not have the funds to relocate, or have nowhere to go.
this is the reality for Hanan ( @hanangaza / @hanangazas-blog ), her husband Youssef, and their three children. they hope to relocate and seek a new shelter.
three children, the youngest being two years old, and the oldest being eleven – they are still babies.
these children are malnourished, Hanan had messaged me about how hungry her children are. if the bombs don't rain fire on them, hunger will certainly eradicate them slowly.
I am kirsty, I am from England, I met Youssef through volunteer work with Ebon… Kirsty Watson needs your support for Youssef and his family
