I think people who are getting like making fun of people who are mad or disappointed, or "you should expect this from Wayne!!" need to calm down as well.

like yeah there was always a chance it would be a joke but it pulled so much hype you're ALLOWED to feel disappointed, and still enjoy what came out of it or NOT, no matter what it's a really funny stream but people are allowed to be upset over things!!!!! End!!!!!

Reminder that people are allowed to be disappointed if they’re respectful about it. I’m enjoying the stream but I am a little bit sad, and I think that’s like okay. Nobody should be getting mad at the rtvs crew, they do stuff like this all the time and this is honestly great im dying. but some ppl don’t watch rtvs aside from hlvrai and didn’t know that it could be a fakeout and I don’t think it’s fair to make fun of them bc how were they supposed to know. they went out of their way to make it seem like they were doing a sequel so hard

plus let’s be honest all of us had a little bit of hope that was crushed today that’s life :)

Here’s a couple:

(Un)forgettable is a roleswap between Gordon and Benrey, but with a fascinating twist. Benrey makes for a VERY fun protag here, I don’t feel like spoiling much else. Game Continuity.

The End of the End of the World is a series focusing on the post-canon relationship between Gordon, Benrey, Tommy, and (after a bit) Darnold, as well as the team as a whole. I find myself revisiting fics from it quite a bit when I need some warm fuzzy comfort. For a specific story, One of my favorite entries is Burnt, a story about Bubby processing his continued friendship with Gordon while helping the latter recover from a flashback to the military ambush. Not A Game continuity.

The One True Streamman is… Okay, I’m cheating. This series is mine. Still, I wouldn’t write it if I didn’t think it was worth reading! Post-Canon, gets really into the nitty gritty of how the Science Team’s relationship with Gordon is affected by the fact that he’s something they can barely understand– a person who holds their lives on his gaming computer. They care deeply about their quasi-deific gamer friend, thank you very much. For a specific story, I’m really proud of Open File > Run as Administrator, which shows a conversation between Gordon and Coomer right in the middle of the AIs being transferred to a new program.
