EXHIBIT A — Mickey (main point)

i know absolutely nothing about Epic Mickey. i’ve never played it or seen a playthrough, but i do know about The Blot; the main antagonist.

so at first, i thought The Blot from MOTM was meant to be a reference to Blot from Dandys World, which i feel is a fair assumption due to the whole ink thing he has going on.

But after doing some research (and someone bringing this to my attention), it’s way more likely and interesting that The Blot from Epic Mickey is our culprit

According to the wiki, The Blot is constructed of paint and thinner. Can you see where im going with this?

now i’m not a pro with chemistry, but im pretty sure when you mix paint thinner with ink, the strong solvents inside the paint thinner act as a solvent for the ink, making it runnier.

okay but in all seriousness i do think the outbreak has something to do with Mickey. Heavily.

The EM wiki states that Blots creation was an accident. But that doesn’t make sense for the timeline, does it?

We can see Chalice fighting this thing, and that’s how you KNOW this thing is old. (technically The Blot is a dude but i hate that man with a burning passion so it is a thing to me)

Allow me to pull a paragraph of text from the prologue with the following image

“This period of peace did not last, however. Greed overtook the toons as the machine would provide anything they wanted. Many sought to have it all to themselves. This Greed turned to a lust for power that divided the toons. The instability caused by the crumbling society only reawakened The Blot’s Curse.”

Heres my interpretation of this:

i think Mickey knew what he was getting into with reawakening Blot. after all look at the smug ass grin on his face. that wasn’t an accident

what was an accident would be how much this ‘lust for power’ and disharmony has caused so many lives for his own benefit

(idk WHY he would’ve reawakened Blot but im so tired jajajshajabshvesbelajdke)

Mickey is stepping back, surprised.

Alarmed.

He’s looking at someone dying in front of him, begging for his help, and all he can do is stand back and look and what he’s unleashed

(Look Mickey, all im gonna tell you is do NOT let Oswald see this post. )

EXHIBIT B — EXTRA STUFF IDFK

1. There’s a little detail thats been annoying me since we first saw Bendy’s Blot attack close up

while everyone else is melting, this guy is puffing up like a damn corn on the cob (pretty sure it’s called blistering idk)

the only reason i could think for this would be that Bendy and The Blot are constructed of two different, incompatible chemical bases (e.g water-based ink, alcohol based. idk what ones im just throwing it out there)

in real life, paint thinner can be used to be removed ink, but it is recommended to use it thin layers so the solvents can evaporate like they are supposed to and to avoid issues with adhesion.

the thinner inside Bendy is thick. it’s been building up inside him for such a long time that the chemicals have started to bubble and blister and thin his skin

anyway ignore me i was just really irritated abt that
