❥He is so proud of you! He is absolutely enamored, and can't help but find himself in a trance with how adorable you are, along with how talented you are too!

❥He makes sure everyone knows you're his partner! A fan getting a bit too friendly at a meet and greet? He's your personal bodyguard ready to send them off!

❥Like Venti he loves your outfits! He doesn't exactly think everyone should be seeing you in them though, you're special!

❥He loves watching your lives and encouraging you before a show, and reassuring you that you were fantastic afterwards too!

❥He'll admit you're talented, but it's usually offhand mentions without much detail.

❥But it's all a facade, he secretly LOVES everything you do! He pays close attention to your every move while you dance, and memorises all your songs! These little details all bring a smile to his face! Even if he doesn't particularly show it.

❥When he's available, he likes to attend your lives as well, albeit while trying to stay undetected.

❥He gets a bit jealous when he sees fans getting a little too into your performances as well, and has to hold back showing them a lesson on how you're his.

Giving Xiao Sweets

Xiao squinted his narrow eyes at you. "You made this? For me?" Although it was a genuine question on his part, he was as standoffish and deadpan as usual. Most would be offput by his coldness, but you were already too used to his tough demeanor to be truly bothered by it. Instead, you gave the adepti a warm smile and gently urged him to take the small gift.

Xiao already knew what it was from the smell, as well as it was basically the only gift he even liked- presenting him with some random trinket that had an 85% chance of confusing or down right annoying him was very unlikely, especially from you. He accepted the gently wrapped package from your hands with care, gently unfurling the ribbon that kept it held together, revealing the puffy white treat that he had grown to love so much. In fact, it looked just about as good as the Inn's.

He felt his body grow warm with gratitude from the small present, only for a breath of confusion to wash over him as he noticed something slightly brown coating one of the pieces. "Y/N? What is this, you know I am not the most fond of sweets." He looked up at you, question in his eyes, he presumed the substance was chocolate. You gave another soft smile in response, "I know Xiao, I made sure you'd like it, I promise!"

Xiao trusted your intuition, you HAD surprised him in more ways than one over the period you two have known eachother. The comforting tone of your voice easing his suspicions a bit as well. Lifting the coated piece up he took a small, dainty bite and allowed the flavors to settle on his palate before swallowing. Bitter. Yet still sweet. It was a drizzle of dark chocolate covering the almond tofu chunk, just as he had presumed, the bitterness balancing out the sickly sweetness whilst not being unbareable.

Xiao remembered eating this type of chocolate a few years back, declaring the sweet decent at BEST, thinking nothing more of it. Yet the chocolate was incomparable to now. Thinking for a moment, he took a bite of the regular piece as well, and how good it was compared to the Inn's he was so fond of shocked him. He was surprised, to say the least, with his partner's seemingly hidden talent for cooking as well. He looked down at you, thinking carefully of his wording choice.

You, although composed ok the outside was antsy internally, aching for Xiao's response- you had worked all day tirelessly on the treat just for him after all. Your boyfriend's vacant stare and lack of words certainly wasn't helping your nerves any either. Just as you were beginning to believe he hated it so much he was at a loss for words, he pulled you in close to him softly, a small squeak of surprise escaping your throat at the sudden movement. After a moment he finally pressed a soft kiss to your forehead, "It's Alright." He responded.
