The teacher I work with, her parents are going to see Toto and Christopher Cross this weekend. I’m low key jealous of her parents and she had no idea who those people are! How do you not know who Toto is?!

OMG! My eldest is the worst patient ever. If I were an actual nurse I would file a harassment complaint. Yes I understand they are a small child but they have cried and whined and threaten to throw up on me, hit me, and wished I had had the surgery they just did. (I have in fact, twice) The one that kills me is when they cried and said, “why did you make me have this surgery?” I know in a few more days they’ll be feeling better and in time probably won’t remember this at all. Yesterday it got to be too much and I put everyone to bed at their regular time and ate pizza and watched a movie with the husband. I really needed the break. And today he took over medicine duty so I wasn’t the one getting yelled out. They did great taking the meds today.

Just chillin in the hospital like you do after you have surgery.
