Need A Spark To Ignite

I work well under pressure. Or at least I tell myself that to get things done. And it looks like it’s too late to integrate a well thought, time saving plan like that. But there’s always next year?

Alright, fine, I'm gonna go pack. Even though we could have finished it since it's late.

Really!? The beach sounds lovely! 

We're going to the beach. Now we just need to think of a date. I'll start packing?

He does and I’m grateful. However I still missed my wife. You were gone for so long and then when you get back you were busy, I mean so was I, but I still missed you. Things have changed so much with the move here and then adopting Henry, it just seems like we don’t have time for each other anymore.

Well, I've missed you, naturally. But summer is here and we can totally take a vacation, for a few weeks. You, me and Henry. We can go to the beach or something.

At least it’s all over, right? Now you can focus on summer or what not.

Focus on family, is what I actually had in mind. 

I still have a few research papers to read. Next year I’m not going to assign such a heavy topic- the social function of racism in America isn’t something I like to think about when we’re so close to summer.

I'm just going to span it over the ending weeks of school. It's a much better plan than having to rush to finish get the results.

Finally! I was starting to get so lonely not seeing you. 

Lonely? I thought Henry would have kept you company while I was busy.
