* I don't mean like talking about how doubles in general make you feel uncomfortable/sad/upset, I only mean if you're overly hateful towards them. I just think that's really unnecessary and I don't want to be around that kind of negativity.

♡ I am nonsharing romantically with only Springtrap (not William Afton in general) from both FNaF and Dead by Daylight. This means I do not want other romantic Springtrap selfshippers to interact with my content. So, if you also selfship with him romantically, I kindly ask that you please do not interact with my account, or you will be hard blocked on sight. I also heavily encourage blocking me back, or blocking me first.

♡ Also, if you are a stranger to me, please don't interact and hard block me if you are already close friends with another romantic Springtrap selfshipper. Also block me if you already heavily associate with any of the really popular ones (who are mainly on Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter as far as I'm aware). Absolutely zero hate to them! But I get extremely insecure and upset around them (in the "boundaries" section I explain why this is).

♡ This only applies to romantic selfships with Springtrap. If you're a familial or platonic/queerplatonic selfshipper of Springtrap, or if you romantically selfship with any other Afton variant excluding him, you are fine to interact! Also, I'm fine if you just have a crush on him without selfshipping. I won't get upset over that.

♡ Please do not interpret me being uncomfortable with other romantic selfships involving Springtrap as me flat out hating them! I do not hate anyone else who selfships with him at all, I think you're all amazing and valid! Unfortunately I just can't help that I feel sad and upset (and in some cases even worse) whenever I come across them out of the blue, so I'm doing all that I can to make sure I don't feel that way (blocking and moving on).

♡ To my current followers and mutuals who may be reading this: I was not always nonsharing, and because of that, long-time followers and mutuals are exceptions. If you also selfship with him and followed me when I wasn't nonsharing, you can definitely still remain that way with me! I would never cut off real friendships over a fictional selfship. If at any point you feel uncomfortable with still following me after I changed to nonsharing, you can soft or hard block me if you want, I don't mind and I completely understand! ♡ Also, you might notice I'm not using the word "doubles." I hate calling them that, to me it feels like I'm trying to sound better than them and I would absolutely hate that. They're just other people with the same f/o as me, and that's okay! I only very occasionally use the term for convenience reasons.

♡ I don't really care about the term yumeship (to be honest I don't really like it, but if you use it then whatever), but I much prefer the term selfship, so please only use that term with me. Also, my ship is self-insert x canon, but you can refer to my self-insert as me or as a separate character.

♡ What I'm like as a person:

• I love making mutuals, especially over selfshipping, as well as general interests! Most of the time, if you follow me, I will follow back! (I will say that just because we're mutuals doesn't automatically mean we're friends, and I'd prefer if you ask if you want to be actual friends ^^)

• The reason why I'm really sensitive about Springtrap is neurodivergence. He is actually one of my special interests, and because of that, I have a tendency to feel protective and jealous about him more easily. When I see others do the same things as me (romantically selfshipping or calling themselves his "#1 fan/lover"), my brain automatically views it as a challenge and instantly feels jealous and protective, and I just block so I don't feel that way. Of course they're still allowed to do all that! I just don't want to see it. But I am completely okay with casual fans or other people who also have him as a favorite, I'd never block over that! I actually encourage interacting if you're like that! ^^

• I'm also especially sensitive to seeing other Springtrap selfshippers who are a lot more popular than me and that a decent amount of the fandom knows about. One of my biggest insecurities is feeling constantly overshadowed and insignificant, and that's how I feel when I'm around that. It's even worse because selfshipping is something I do to get away from that feeling. It makes me feel like my ship will just get ditched because someone else's is super popular. I'm fully aware they can't control their popularity and it's not their fault at all! That's why I just block them.

• I tend to take a while to respond back to comments, asks, or dms, mainly because I'm scripting a response.

• Selfshipping is a huge coping mechanism and comfort source for me, and I take it seriously, but only to that extent! I don't view it on the same level as a real relationship, and even though it is romantic, I don't think it replaces an actual romantic relationship.

• There are times where I'm inactive, mainly due to school or physical and mental health reasons, since I'm very physically and mentally unstable.

• I love attention and validation. Please give it to me /nf!

• I'm extremely supportive of everyone's ships and often will make an effort to comment on and reblog your ship posts if I see them!

♡ What I am ALWAYS okay with:

• Strictly SFW fanart and headcanons of my ship. I heavily encourage this and think it's the best thing ever! 🩷

• Asks related to my ship or au. (Anon asks are off due to harassment, sorry!)

• F/O letters.

• Spam likes.

• Being tagged in posts related to Springtrap, selfshipping in general, or anything you think I would like.

• Being tagged in reblog games, though I would prefer if you tagged my main tbh. (Unless it's a reblog game about selfshipping.)

♡ What I am okay with ONLY under certain conditions:

• Art trades, preferably with mutuals.

• People who ship Springtrap romantically with a canon character. This is absolutely okay if it's nothing that falls under my dni! I don't mind most ships with him! All I ask is that you don't bring up your ship under my selfship posts.

• If you want to follow me and you also interact with other romantic Springtrap selfshippers. Like I said before, I'm only okay if you're just interacting with them casually, but if you're already super close friends or heavily associate with another one, I would prefer if you did not interact with my content.

• Nsfw content in general, but specifically of my ship. I don't mind talking about nsfw topics, but only in dms with close adult mutuals who are comfortable with that stuff, never publicly. Also, only I can make stuff like that about my ship. It would make me extremely uncomfortable if anyone else did.

♡ What I am NOT okay with at all:

• Using my ship art for anything or reposting it to other sites.

• Bringing up my popular doubles with me. I don't mind if you just know of them (I think that's different from heavily associating with them, in which case kindly dni), but please, do not talk about them around me. If anything, I'd rather just forget they exist because I legit have panic attacks if I think of them for too long or come across their content /srs. So PLEASE, kindly just keep that knowledge to yourself or talk about it with someone else. 😭

• Thinking that I condone Springtrap's horrible actions just because I selfship with him, and also thinking that I would like him if he was real, and vice versa. I would absolutely not, for all the obvious reasons. 😭

• Accidentally upsetting someone or making someone uncomfortable. If I ever end up doing or posting anything that makes you feel this way, please let me know immediately and we can work through it.

• Repeatedly bringing up the fact that Springtrap is a rotting corpse. That is technically not wrong, but I'm about the suit, not the corpse. Plus I just find it to be a really annoying thing to say. But I don't mind if it's brought up as a joke or if that's what we're specifically talking about.

• Talking about real-life romance. I'm aroace and romance/sex repulsed in real life. I only like talking about selfships, since I don't think it's on the same level. Romantic/sexual thoughts are not the same thing as actually wanting to pursue a relationship with someone, and those thoughts about a fictional character are even less the same thing, at least in my opinion.

• My ship being brought up on anything outside of Tumblr or Bluesky. If you also know me on TikTok or YouTube, please do not bring it up on either of those, such as mentioning it in my comments or on one of your posts. Those places are terrible towards selfshippers, FNAF shippers (ccxcc and selfship), and Springtrap fans, and since I'm all three of those, I will absolutely get attacked. I've already been attacked on TikTok for selfshipping with a different character like 4 years ago, so... 😭

Okay so, feeling insignificant and overshadowed is a feeling that hits way too close to home for me. It's one of my biggest insecurities and something I've always had very severe anxiety over and still very much do, especially as someone who spent like 90% of her life outside looking in and always feeling out of place. I got like almost zero attention as a child due to being neurodivergent and everyone at school thinking I was weird (I only had like 2 friends), my mother being sick for a lot of my childhood, and also being an only child. Literally the only people that paid attention to me was my dad and whatever friends I had at the time, including my best friend (who is still my best friend to this day). I constantly felt so small next to everyone else who got so much more attention than I ever did.

(My life has gotten better since then btw, I have more friends now than I've ever had, but because of my absolutely fucked up childhood I still feel this way lolz.)

So anyways, I think this is the reason why I got so attached to fictional characters, and is also the reason why now I crave so much attention. At least fictional characters can't leave me and make me feel like I don't matter. And with my f/o specifically, some of the main character traits I interpret from him is that he loves attention, he cares a lot about his reputation, and he hates feeling small. I honestly kind of relate to him in these ways, and it makes me feel less alone and out of place. (Except I actually have good morals unlike him lmao 😭)

So yeah, and whenever I see something on the internet or even in real life that upsets me and makes me feel small, I just go back to focusing on him and him only and personally I find that very healing. 🩷
