St. Louis is home to over 40 people who create comics. Some do graphic novels, others make comic books, some illustrate and write web comics. We spoke to two of them, @roricomics + @mattkindt, today. We also had a lively discussion on twitter with @adronbuske, @steenzartblog, @mroobit, @Ink_and_Drink + more.
Listen to the segment online here.
If you missed the conversation on Twitter this afternoon you can check it out on StL Public Radio’s website!
This interview will be on "St. Louis on the Air" at noon on Tuesday; this story will be updated after the show. You can listen live.
StL Public Radio (@STLonAir) is hosting a Q&A with local comic creators on Twitter today at 12:30pm CST and I’ll be participating! They’ll also be doing a live broadcast interviewing my pal @roricomics and Matt Kindt about the local comics scene. Be sure to follow me @mroobit and follow @STLonAir to see their questions.
Flying a Kite in the Hills of Mouleau by Shannon Dybvig - Print available through Society6
There are a lot of lovely places to wander to and be alone with nature at the edges of Mouleau. Most gnomes don’t go so far, either too busy and concerned with their work or simply contented to play in the villages, and those who do prefer the salty air of visiting the ocean.

I’ve been putting this off until I made my hand-lettering consistent enough for my own tastes - I think that time has come! I’ll likely still hand-letter a small amount, but I’ll be using the font for most things - especially longer projects.
Once the font is ready, I’ll be using it to re-letter the Keybound prologue, as well as using it for the rest of Keybound. Once I’ve re-lettered the prologue and made a few other adjustments, the book will actually go to print!
There are a few other projects in the pipeline that I am dying to talk about-- hopefully I can talk about those soon!
