Whatever your problem is, it seems unfair in comparison to what this kid has to go through.

But to be invalidated isn't really an effective method to handle your problems is it?

Quite the contrary, sometimes when the timing isn't right, you couldn't care less about other people's struggles.

You know those people exist. You know most people are struggling much harder than you do.

But God, does it feel good to be heard.

Does it feel good to be seen, even when 99% of people are having much harder struggles than you.

I say, don't feed upon your desire to be heard and seen, sometimes you do need that. But more importantly, you also need to involve other people to fulfill that.

I say, people couldn't care less about you, and it's not a bad thing.

Everybody has their own problems, it's not on them to fulfill your own desires.

I say, you have the duty to fulfill it yourself, or close it completely altogether.

Then and only then, you will feel like you don't need to rely on anyone.
