I think people are unaware of Mariah’s influence on this industry and all she had to do to get that. A lot of you are unsupportive of her and really negative. It’s a shame that she isn’t praised today as much as she should. If it wasn’t for her you wouldn’t have this mainstream music today,these pop/hip hop collabs witch Mariah did first in 1995 in Fantasy remix with ODB. It was her idea,because she is a musical genieus. Most of singers today didn’t put half of the amount into getting the success like she did. Some of her songs were written when she was 15 years old and they became hits she is known for today. She is in full control of her creative work,she writes all of her songs. It is not fair to compare her to anybody because she is a fucking queen
I call her the mother of music. Nobody could do what she has done. No today’s artist could have made music that is still hell good 20 years later. Most of them have a hit and it get’s forgotten next year. She is a true trend setter. She has nothing to prove, she is already a queen who worked her entire life to achive her dreams,overworked herself and pushed her limits just to prove that she is good enough.. And just when you thought she is done she came back from the ashes,fully emancipated. Apart from all of the stuff that she’s been trough and vocal nodules her pipes aren’t declining and she always come back slaying. I just think Mariah needs more respect because she paved the way to everything. She isn’t named the Best selling female artist of all time for nothing,right :)
