I made the (probably) final look of the inventory of the game, I made it fit the rest of the menus better, I added the controls at the bottom and replaced the decorative gun sprite with a health bar.

I finally finished the code for the objects that can be carried, they can be attacked by the enemies if you leave them in front of them, some enemies can ignore them and others can attack it over the player.

For today I have the final sprites of the enemies! the characters I used didn’t had a clear face like the one I used for the butler in the first game, so I had to get a bit creative, the result looks very stupid and I love it.

(Also a small teaser for the final enemy sprites too).

First of all, be careful the video has flashing lights, beside that, I made the main menu of the game! I don’t like it as much as the Security Service one but I didn’t want to repeat the same thing so I made this instead.

For today I have the notes menu (and the notes objects themselves)! I wanted to give the player the option to see them again, specially in case I decide to use some notes for puzzles.

I added the save and load system to the game! I added 3 save files so people can have multiple saves and as a detail I made it so the files have a description of what's currently happening in the story.

I added an achievements menu for the game, I mainly did this so the Itchio version of the game could have the achievements I plan to add too.

Hi! I haven’t posted anything this last two weeks because I was Deltaruning, but I have done a lot of progress! For today I have the settings menu, it’s very similar to the Security Service one but way better programmed and with more settings, the main additions are the inclusion of the general and data categories, the resolution and window sizes options, the controller and keyboard settings and binds are separated with the exception of the toggle run and toggle walk slow that are shared between the two, and the addition of new difficulty settings for the gun.

A video showing all the types of dialogues from the game, in the video there are two new types that I haven’t showed before, the cutscenes and a dialogue that can be read while moving.

I added knifes to the game! They are used to evade damage if you get grabbed by an enemy, but they don’t work on all enemy types and they have limited uses before breaking.

For today I have a mechanic I’ll probably use like two times in the entire game, objects that can be carried! Grabbing them doesn’t let you use your gun, now I need to come up with a punishment for dropping the object so disabling the gun becomes an actual problem.

For today I have the puzzle/minigame system of the game! I wanted to be able to do puzzles that were a bit more complex than just finding something avoiding the enemy since that was a small problem my last game had. There are two modes, window and fullscreen, which I’ll use depending on how much I want the player to forget they are still existing in the map of the game.

Hi! I’ve been busy this past week with school stuff so I haven’t been able to do much progress, but now I’m done so I can work on the game more! For today I have the health bar of the game, the player sprite changing with damage.
