CLOWN IS IN TOWN

It’s the way how Charlie and Sir Pentious were treated as jokes. Their dreams lofty and ridiculed. How they continually tried to command respect (Charlie as the Princess of Hell and Pentious as a genius inventor and kingpin) but were so, so bad at it.

How they both, slowly, come into their own. Charlie completing her growth as a leader by rallying Cannibal Town and Sir Pentious being a major leader in their resistance against the Exorcists.

How they fought not for theirselves, not a for moment, but for their friends.

How they became the symbols of the only hope Hell's ever had. The first person to try to save them and the first to be saved.

How it's all because Charlie was the first person to give Sir Pentious a genuine chance, because Sir Pentious was Charlie's first genuine patron.
