It's crazy to me that some people watch and LOVE Hazbin, PLEAD for more content, and then just,, don't get into Helluva Boss

On a dichotomy of lyrics and melody, I am very melody pilled

#(also when listening to music) but I extend this to how I perceive stuff more sensually in general #visuals and harmonies move me more than lyrics and storytelling #though I do enjoy lyrics and storytelling #they just don't come as natural or hit as hard to me #as an artist in a storytelling-focused profession I find it's the other way around with a lot of people

The majesty of real living animals who towered over everything, endured through a harsh world and became abundant in all varieties in the most beautiful showcase of evolution, enduring 165 million years as the apex species on every corner of their planet, only to be striked down in a single moment by the most cruel and unfair manner by something with no thought or meaning. To imagine how much longer they could have survived without some simple stroke of bad luck. And then to remember that they did survive, against all odds, and still walk with us today, not huge or commanding but just as enduring as their ancestors. And to remember the pterosaurs and marine reptiles in their prime that did not survive to fly and swim with us. To remember them in their scarce evidence of bones of mangled and buried corpses, to use their remains to rediscover their majesty. And to know we will never fully understand their majesty.

This is real, dinosaurs are real and this actually happened and the evidence is that you can literally look at them through your window

As a nonbinary person I notice quite frequently that queer people who I introduce my pronouns to (she/her and it/its) will they/them me, especially upon learning my gender.

Like with binary trans people, even if you acknowledge their gender in other regards, they/themming someone after knowing their specific pronouns do not include they/them IS misgendering, and it’s dismissive to assume that someone uses they/them simply because they’re nonbinary.

It just kinda bugs me how often this happens in specifically queer spaces and how often I have to step in and remind both strangers and friends. If you think you’ve been doing this to someone subconsciously then please be more mindful
