The human eye has (really adorable) special lacrimal glands to make new tears and special (equally adorable) tubes, called lacrimal puncta, to drain old ones away.

not 100% yet, i'm only a sophmore so i'm still figuring it out. Right now i'm really liking the zoology/animal biology. I'm also SUPER interested in the brain and neurology. I know i'm not going into medical though; not really super interesting to me and too hard to get into lol :p... I would love to be a teacher. What did you study in (assuming you went to college, i mean not every does) Youre into graphic design too (me too) did you do anything with that?
akbrodey I studied sustainability, a pretty vague undergrad degree. It didn't really have much biology in it. I spent some years doing community organizing/activism in Portland which provided me the opportunity to work with kids in a classroom setting. I noticed that working with kids was much less frustrating than working with adults (and working with kids can be is frustrating). I jumped on an opportunity to teach biology primarily as a way to learn biology. Graphic design has been my bread winner but it also has been very useful as a teacher as so much of what we do is about conveying information in a compelling way. Additionally, kids are so much more media savvy these days. They know how sophisticated a learning experience can be from the games and apps they use and most of school is a joke in terms of quality of presentation. My only advice would be to try and get youth education experience, whether it's at a camp, substituting, or just observing a class. Each grade/age is a different beast, you might hate one but love another. 9th grade has been splendid for me.

Air Plant Jellyfish by ‘PetitBeast’
Until red runs into grey and just stops dead in the race
Just a taste of things to come. I found this ex-Bratz doll at the Margate tip shop in Tassie. She was definitely ready for a tree change! I have re-painted her face, sewn overalls, moulded new shoes, and re-conditioned her hair. Her top is hand knitted by my Mum!
so does that mean that honey is like bee vomit
