Understand that we are all here with the same purpose and scope - to mobilize bators.
Understand that if you’re looking to grow your community, you must connect with others looking to do the same.
Understand that there are facilitators and enthusiasts out here with the resources, influence, and skills to help bring about wonderful changes.
Ask for help and guidance. Ask because you really do care about your bros. Learn from each other and lift one another up.
The factor in running a squad is having a major capacity to care about your brethren.
If you only worry about increasing numbers, your reach will never be powerful. Care because you can, no matter how many dudes show up. Treat each other as human beings and not just nude bodies.
Respect boundaries, and know when to let things rock.
Step in when necessary, and delegate responsibilities.
Never shame or ostracize your brothas, especially those looking to find acceptance.
Reach out to other Bate Groups in the community. It’s not as small as you think.
I’ll say it time and time again: What I’ve found interesting about the different bate groups here in ATL is the lack of communication and openness.
I’ve had other group mates tell me about Bate Groups, Parties, and etc. It makes me wonder the depth of exclusivity these groups have, which I understand.
As an Open Bate Coach, I honestly hear nothing of these things. However, I try to share what I do with the entire Tumblr community, so that people interested can still benefit from coaching in some form.
However, I get that discretion is important as well.
Just know, that in ATL, you have a dude here doing major things. You have a dude here who is open to answer questions, collaborate, and facilitate if need be.
You have someone resourceful enough to guide you in making your connections better. This is not me asking to be part of anyone’s team.
I have my team, and I’m proud of the Bators I’ve helped become greater. I’m asking that in some form, you all unite under the same cause, if that’s what you’re trying to do.
