Risking it all to have another moment with you.

Little sprinkles here and there like breadcrumbs bringing me back to that certain time and place.

I am confused but also intrigued. There is a sense of feeling but my logic doesn’t know where to categorise this connection.

So we coexist with this little piece of each other that we have. Sort of like a badge on our arm.

Are we staring through the rain looking for a familiar face?

I get the keys to my apartment.

But once you get in a relationship - they come out of hiding. Even the ones with partners. I don’t understand. They want what they cannot have.

The elusiveness of it all is intriguing. Wanting someone because someone else is enjoying. They suddenly want your attention.

What do you want to hear from me? Do I still think about you? Does your name still come out of my lips?

It does. Does my heart still pound when I think about us? Of course. The memories were great. The love, the intimacy how can I forget?

All of it is still in a box stored away in my thoughts. Sometimes I pull the box down from its shelf to reminisce.

We have our own little worlds now. Will our worlds ever collide who knows?
