One thing Nishiki valued was his own privacy. Even as a young man when people tried to pry into his life it was met with an instant shut down. Nishiki put on a noticeably fake smile, his eyes stark. He turned to the man and walked closer to him. He squinted slightly before returning to his usual unnervingly calm demeanor. "Do I seem different?" He questioned. His voice almost a whisper. An eyebrow raised. "I did change my hair routine recently. Can you tell?" A small unconvincing laugh left his lips before he ran his fingers through his hair. Hands in his pocket, he walked to the couch in his office. Extending one hand he offered a seat to the other. "Now, what really brings you here? Running low on funds?"

It was impossible for him to comprehend why Kiryu would simply refuse the benefits that came with the title. "Are these the best clothes you got? If they don't let you enter I am going in alone." He wouldn't. "Do you even care about the first impression? You cannot rely on your face all the time, yhe outfit should compliment the rest! This is why hostess never look your way, man." His voice showed discontent with Kiryu's dismissive behavior regarding looks. They never seemed to meet in the middle. Kiryu didn't care at all, Nishiki cared too much. He wanted the best for himself, but genuinely thought that Kiryu also deserved the best. His resistance just made Nishiki more stubborn until Kiryu finally gave in. "At least freshen up before we go in. Think about my reputation."
