Necrons I don’t like them that much, their fluff is poor, even if it has been revamped, they’ve lost their appeal once I got them. They were easy and pleasing to paint though. They’re still nice to have around because you can lend them to non-wh-players you coerce convince into playing with you and beginners can get how Necrons work pretty easily. These models have taken a lot of damage from moving around, hence the “reassembling” conversions. (Again too lazy to put the models on their bases). 100% Khornate Chaos (from the time when such things mattered) That was my idea of playing crazy corrupted Marines : games where you actually don’t have a say in anything. As a player you’re just trying to lead them strategically, but ultimately they will go crazy and run towards the enemy… and win. That’s at least how it went down with the “4.5″ CSM codex. The models need more details, and a few retouches here and there, but unless I want them to benefit from my best painting skills, they’re done. I still got unassembled units waiting (raptors, havocs and obliterators)… They’re the left overs from the army box that couldn’t go full-Khorne back in the day. The Reunified Eldar of Lonad-Shair. The latest army started two years ago. Actually made up by roughly 50% Dark Eldar bashed to look less aggressive. This army is embodying my current attitude towards WH : to hell with wysiwyg, no-fun rules and long live fluff and customisation in-game and on-model. Paint-wise they’re the most advanced. They benefit from my entire painting experience and my dedication to have them fully done, detailed and based without sacrificing my painting speed (I’ve always painted VERY quickly). I’m not a good painter but I get my satisfaction from average results in a very short time. I still have wyches and new kabalites, incubi-conversions and a venom to do but I’m waiting for more CW Eldar models so I can kit-bash the whole of them beautifully…
