favorite thing ever is when two characters are put into that "one of us tells the truth, the other tells lies" because its so funny and just fun. i love it
i absolutely adore how saturn is gnc enough that irida mistakes him for coin, and then doesn't realize he isn't coin until he gets defensive over him and mars being mistaken for some other people rather than realizing because he's a dude lmfao
once again, Iām going on a ramble about Amethio.
Like, I really need him to just, break. I need him to break. I need him to angrily cry at Friede, or yell at Spinel. I think we will probably get that, considering what weāve gotten so far.
Maybe Spinel will mock him for failing the mission, and he succeeds. Maybe Friede will beat him. Maybe Amethio will storm away, on the verge of tears.
Again, this is more of a want, but I yearn for the Amethio angst like Robo yearns for the mines. (Inside joke.)

like, i want him to CRY. i want him to get mad and just absolutely lose it. i need him to realize the explorers are not okay, or end up jealous of spinel, or freak out at friede. i want him to lose the maturity and superiority complex he has with the rvt / calmness he has with the explorers for just a second.
i want him to cry and curse and point fingers and try to punch and hit before realizing he doesnāt actually want to. i want him to yell at spinel trying to at least get some position of power above him for just a few seconds. i want him to scream at friede because all he craves is attention and care ā plus a good battle.
i want master gibeon to scold him. i want spinel to laugh in the kindest way the cold and sour heart he seems to have towards amethio can. i want zir and conia to realize they canāt just always talk with him, but talk to him. i want friede to need to pay attention to him. i want friede to hug him.
i want amethio to have someone other than conia and zir to talk to and not feel professional. i want him to show all the emotions he seems to be trying to hide. i want him to maybe even bond with the rvt, maybe friede forced him on the airship to heal or whatever or he found his way on and they wonāt let him just leave.
if you told me last month that i wouldnāt want amethio to be an actual villain, or that heād be the only character that kept me watching hz, iād probably fucking laugh at you!
but i want to see his character. i NEED to see it, I need to see the redemption arc and his thoughts within an episode on him ā but not the explorers.
smth i've noticed is that friede and amethio have never completed a full battle yet (or smth like that) because they keep getting interrupted/interrupting themselves
this obviously has pokemon horizons spoilers so like! yeah!
so i'm considering a full battle here as in, one of their pokemon faint at the end and there's a very clear obvious winner. and all of their battles have been interrupted somehow so lmao
though i do think like. some of these battles could have winners just based on the situation but idk just a thought so
in episode 1/2, they stopped battling because liko's pendant and how it went weird n stuff.
later in episode 2, amethio stopped the battle early to retreat after grabbing sprigatito.
in episode 3, friede left before they were done battling/before amethio could give a final attack or whatever. they didn't battle in episode 4.
in episode 5, amethio stopped battling friede because he kept getting distracted and went for liko instead.
idk if that's like, on purpose or anything, but i've found it interesting to think about, and im pretty sure pokemon battles still end with a fainted pkmn at the end considering liko's win against conia ended with her rhydon fainted soo yk
but yeah just thinking a lil bit. sorry if this didnt make any sense

ā¢ they only remember themselves and each other. they have vague memories that they were on the same team or something and there was this really important boss guy that they feel like they should probably get back to. also yknow how thereās like those ingo things with remembering emmet? i think team rocket would be like that with ash+pikachu but less angsty (or still just as, depends)
ā¢ pokemon wise, i like the idea of jessie getting a shinx because she likes itās personality or something. for james, i think heād get an eevee, but hey who knows not me
ā¢ maybe meowth would convince a random pikachu to join them. because it feels important that they should get a pikachu
ā¢ everyone is super freaked out about this talking pokemon that looks like it should be on 2 legs so they donāt really like him at first but then he helps translate and then people start using him to translate and like him and stuff
ā¢ they sometimes hum their parts in the motto. like they donāt know the words but they can get the tune

ā¢ they hate being part of the survey corps but they do it for the money. gotta get rich somehow and pay for food to eat

ā¢ i think itās funny to think about some child wanting to dress up meowth or something and give him bows and crap. so he looks in a mirror after and gets hit with a horrible wave of deja vu that does not feel good

ā¢ the horrible deja vu continues when jessie shows this hairstyle that she got and doesnāt think itās her look but james is bluescreening because that hairstyle reminds him of someone who is really not cool at all (jessebelle)

ā¢ now for jessie to experience, thereās that one island in the coastlands where thereās a chansey and while everyone else is like. scared because itās an alpha pokemon, jessie is like āomg?????? wtf????ā and she approaches it. then it attacks her and bam bad deja vu

ā¢ i have two thoughts for the ash and pikachu situation- either A. they are in the present or B. they are in the past and i have thoughts about both
ā¢ A. the present. i think that ash would go to the next region (or stay in kanto idk whatever you want to imagine) and everything is normal at first
ā¢ but then after a bit of time passes it feels like somethings missing but he isnāt sure what
ā¢ at some point he randomly mentions team rocket and jessie and james and whatever. but then his companion(s) go āhuh??? who are they???ā
ā¢ it clicks. team rocket has not been around where did they go what
ā¢ so ash begins to search because he sure as hell isnāt going to the police about it, because 1, he is a hero, and 2, they would arrest them immediately
ā¢ basically he searches for team rocket while no one else does and itās just shgshs yeah
ā¢ and B, where he turns up in hisui too with pikachu
ā¢ i would think he remembers everything. so when he sees team rocket he flips out and is like āwtf what are you doing here how did you follow me to the past!!!ā
