Atieno chuckled a little bit. They had their things they had enjoyed and tried over the years. But could they really consider them vices?

Given that Atieno had been willing to go without many, many things, that could be a difficult question for them to answer.

"Good question. Cosmic force, cosmic entity... those tends to be more of the phrases that seem to be close enough for what I am in general. "

Ah… Not the answer he was looking for on either side. Steps only taken out of curiosity didn't really intrigue or entice. Less likely a passing interest would drag someone down, but once again unlikely he'd get to taste such a thing from a- cosmic force ? Yeah, probably not edible in a whole sense.

Better to know that it would be a wasted effort rather than guess on the subject. Guesses always led back down to questioning, and ill-made attempts.

Well, now wasn't that something ? Wasn't very often anymore that someone just had the strongest energy of “at your own risk” surrounding them. A warning to be heeded ! By anyone other than him that is. No, that warning was more akin to a temptation to him. Very funny to be the one tempted this time ! To have the role taken from him without so much as a word spoken in his direction… It made him excited truthfully, a thrill, a rush in his body that bade him approach. And with such an easy vice off the rip how could he not ?

A question proposed with a quieter, neutral, tone as he gestures to the spot next to the woman. Digging out a pack of cigarettes from his pocket.

Eugh, children. Now that was something he didn't enjoy messing with. Always too many questions ! Always clinging to the bright and optimistic view they inherently had. What is there to tempt a child with ? Candy, toys ? No, he wasn't going to go out and collect a bunch of toys for the fleeting moments where he was placed around one of the younger mortals. An internal grimace and deep sigh as he accepts his temporary fate, at least children had the use of being able to get closer to the older beings around them.

Always made him both curious and annoyed in equal measure. Challenges, that's what people like this were. Always ready to rise to the occasion, but you know, sometimes it's nice to just have an easy dinner. Little effort, a quick meal before going off to do whatever it was he felt like doing. Not that it mattered, there was probably no eating this one. Life force can be shared, blood can be drank, flesh can be consumed, but eating as a whole… not really something that seemed on the table even for a primordial being like himself.
