We didn’t evolve from chimpanzees, this is a loaded question to begin with. It ignores the assertion that we’re evolved from a common ancestor. That common ancestor has also died out.
Basically, we evolved alongside chimps. The “we evolved from monkeys” idea was used in by the defense in the Scopes trial, it is not necessarily a tenet of evolution. Modern monkeys evolved from the same common ancestor as humans. If you replace the picture of the chimp with the primate common ancestor, which is also extinct, then the “argument” of the image falls flat.
Interesting. According to WWF we are closer genetics to gorillas which is an ape and not a monkey. So you kinda have your information wrong. Plus a Chimp is an ape and not a monkey.

Fun fact: If my younger sister was in a car accident and desperately needed a blood transfusion to live, and I was the only person on Earth who could donate blood to save her, and even though donating blood is a relatively easy, safe, and quick procedure no one can force me to give blood. Yes, even to save the life of a fully grown person, it would be ILLEGAL to FORCE me to donate blood if I didn’t want to.
See, we have this concept called “bodily autonomy.” It’s this….cultural notion that a person’s control over their own body is above all important and must not be infringed upon.
Like, we can’t even take LIFE SAVING organs from CORPSES unless the person whose corpse it is gave consent before their death. Even corpses get bodily autonomy.
To tell people that they MUST sacrifice their bodily autonomy for 9 months against their will in an incredibly expensive, invasive, difficult process to save what YOU view as another human life (a debatable claim in the early stages of pregnancy when the VAST majority of abortions are performed) is desperately unethical. You can’t even ask people to sacrifice bodily autonomy to give up organs they aren’t using anymore after they have died.
You’re asking people who can become pregnant to accept less bodily autonomy than we grant to dead bodies.

hmmmm no that was only a small part of her point, the biggest argument pro-life uses is that you HAVE to carry the pregnancy, even if it’s against your will or sometimes even if it’ll maybe kill YOU because It’s not about your life but about a potential life. with other words: You have to do it because if you don’t you are a murderer. now she said that when her sister was in hospital she was the only one who could give her the blood that would safe her life, but even so they could never FORCE her to give that blood if she did not want it too. that’s because it is HER body and her choice, if we did not have this the hospital would just be able to pluck anyone of the streets including you to drain some of your blood in order to safe people who are dying, even if you did not want this or do not know the person, you don’t get to choose because it’s not about you, it’s about the people on the hospital beds. and before the argument is made “you choose the have sex but that girl did not cause her sister’s accident” no, but even if she had caused the accident they can still not force her to give blood, because it is her body. and yeah, I think maybe it isn’t such a bad idea to just harvest corpses for their organs in order to safe lives without having to go through the forms (because a lot of people just don’t fill it in out of laziness) but that’s not up to me, some people do decide when they live that they do not want their organs harvested, maybe out of religion or other reasons, and that is their right, a decision from a self aware, fully grown person before their death and not a cluster of cells. I do not think an abortion is something to take lightly, no one wakes up early in the morning and thinks OH BOY, LETS SUCK THIS LITTLE SHIT OUT OF ME, I CAN’T WAIT! no, it is emotionally and physically draining, you feel like shit and it’s not something to be proud of. but forcing a woman to keep an unwanted embryo in the whomb, carry it and give birth to it will not ruin one life, but two of them, maybe by some miracle that child will grow up happy and loved and shit, but once the kid is born all those people crying for it’s life don’t give a shit about it anymore, it was unwanted and forced and will either be mistreated the rest of it’s life or be stuck in an orphanage because if we make all the woman of our planet carry their unwanted children, hell we are gonna have a BIG problem with overpopulation. pregnancy is not a punishment and if ya’ll are so worried about the cluster of cells get your ass down to the abortion clinic and request those unwanted embryo’s be planted in you so you can carry that “precious” life and care for it like only a mother could.
Uhhhhh… You are free to your own opinion, but doctors are required to let a woman know that her pregnancy might kill her.
My aunt was one such person. She said hell no to the abortion. No one could force her to get one even if it meant killing her.
In the end the baby died and my aunt almost died too, but yea. Even if abortion was made illegal, it’s a live-saving procedure in a lot of cases and would NEVER be taken off the table because of that fact. When people say they are anti-abortion, they usually mean it for when people engage in sex and don’t prepare for the consequences of that action. There are so many contraceptives out there that there’s not much need for abortion other than that you fucked up.
Please. Feel free to continue this debate and pass the post around, but don’t spread misinformation. That doesn’t help debates, it just turns it into a flame war.

The original Blurred Lines song if you actually payed attention to the lyrics is about a girl in a relationship who has the hots for another guy who is saying that it’s okay. This one is about genital mutilation. Yet Robin Thicke is the vile sexist hateful pig?
considering the song is sang from the man's perspective it might as well be a guy harrassing the shit out of a girl while saying "I know you want it" which is something that actually happends a LOT in clubs or even just in public, if a girl smiles politely or says something it's pretty quickly missinterpeted into: "oh yeah she must wanna suck my dick" it is very clearly from the singers point of view considering he is dancing around in his nice tuxedo surrounded by naked woman (in the uncensored version they are topless) not to mention the girls don't even look particular happy. I dislike the song and video mainly for the overal vibe, I mean they could have at least asked the models to look a little less high?

this is also something lots of people took issue with although I am going to take it with a grain of salt considering most news articles like to slice in texts here and there to make it look worse then it is, I think what the singers where going for was shock value and they certainly got that.
and about the parody up there, it's a parody, I didn't care for it much, I am just happy I am no longer hearing the song everywhere I go.
