Head canon; Himeros hates whenever he's simplified to just being Eros' twin, he wants to be recognized for his SEPARATE work and skill. But he also loves his brother so he doesn't say anything, but that only makes the tension boil underneath the surface until it eventually blows over.

Headcanon: Hymenaios (God of Marriage Hymns) is Heras favourite nephew

Something funny in my adaption: Apollo: "It's just... it's not fair!" Hymenaios: "What isn't father?" Aristaeus: "Yes, tell us what's wrong! So we can help." Apollo: "I- Well- OKAY, YOU AND ALL OF YOUR SIBLINGS ARE TALLER THAN ME! AND I'M NOT EVEN SHORT! WHY ARE YOU ALL OAFS?!" Hymenaios: "Father you told us about this last week. It's not that big of a deal y'know-" Aristaeus: "Also don't call us oafs, that's rude-" Apollo: "BUT IT'S STILL UNFAIRRRRRR-" Apollo proceeded to break down in song, Hymenaios and Aristaeus left to leave him to his devices and calm down... hopefully.

Haven't really shown Apollo or Pothos but there's something about their dynamic I wanna say now (also this is in accordance to my silly misc stories not the actual mythology): Apollo tries really hard to be nice to Pothos, because he knows that Pothos is earnest, he knows that he's nice, and he knows that Pothos is trying hard for there not to be any tension between them. But no matter how hard he tries, no matter how many times he reminds himself that Pothos isn't Zephryus, that he's his son and not him but... he can't help but hate him. Just a bit.

Tbh the best ships are when they're not canon or implied to be ships at all, but the characters have so many little moments and silly bits of dialogue where they just work together so perfectly.
