Here are all the Facebook posts I managed the make after the twins were born. I figured I’d stick them here so they’re easier to find later on...

“The twins are here!
They decided that they wanted to be Leos, instead of Virgos. I went into labor Wednesday night and delivered them via c-section. All three of us are still at the hospital and I've been too busy to write down a detailed account of all that has happened ~ so this little brain dump will have to do for now. We're *still* working on names - I'd like to announce them together when they're official...
Each baby weighed 4 lbs 12 oz, and measured 17.5 in. long (there was only a fraction of a difference between them). [edit: There was some misunderstanding concerning the length measurements ~ one baby was actually only 17 inches.] I think I started having contractions around 9:00 p.m. (on Wednesday, the 10th) and both babies were out by 11:30 p.m., one minute apart. [edit: Actually, less than a minute apart.]
No major issues so far - I keep getting told that my c-section recovery is great, and every time I get an update on the twins from "Special Care", they are also doing well and keep progressing. My milk is in and I'm pumping, hoping we can get them off of formula as soon as possible. I'll try my best to get some photos circulating and keep updating!”

“I'm home now. I got discharged from the hospital late Saturday night, which sucks, because the stupid outpatient pharmacy is closed on the weekend. So, we had to fill my drug script at Meijer (Sunday) and Derek is dropping off my script for an electric breast pump on his way to work (Monday). I hope I don't have to wait another day for it ~ collecting milk with a manual pump is time consuming and totally not fun...”

“During our Sunday visit, I found a tiny jumping spider crawling on Aoife while Derek was holding her...”
“Monday Visit: Locke is off of the biliblanket for now. I got to hold both twins at the same time. The best, and most unexpected, thing was being able to attempt breastfeeding. I couldn't get either baby to latch well enough, but it was still great. Locke was more enthusiastic about it than Aoife.
I also got my electric breast pump! I was offered an Evenflo model, which I decided to try even though I'm familiar with Medela. So far, I really like the Evenflo better. The medical supplies technician (?) that helped me in the pharmacy was friendly and very helpful - she made my day. It's refreshing when the people who are supposed to help you actually *do* that, and more...
Also, the twins' Chinese zodiac sign is Red Fire Monkey - which cracks me up because their skin is so red, and their Western astrological sign is fire, too.”
“The dishes are done, kitchen mostly cleaned, floor vacuumed, milk pumped, head shaved & shower taken. Now I'm trying to get as much laundry done before bedtime as I can...” Â
[A few people were concerned by this post, worried that I was over-doing things and not resting enough. My response was, “I'm nesting, and being able to get some housework done keeps me from getting depressed. I haven't done anything to prepare for the twins coming home, and once they're here I won't be able to get this much done in a day. Besides, my apartment is the size of a postage stamp, and I take plenty of breaks to get my feet up. And shaving & showering = self-care.”]

“To contrast my productive Tuesday, all I did yesterday was visit the twins, eat food, pump milk (falling asleep during), take a nap, and then a remix of eating & pumping with washing dishes thrown in.”
“Today, I cried over spilled milk...”
“The only baby update I've got is that the twins have reached their birth weight! Hopefully, they'll keep steadily increasing...' [They were also a week old at this point.]
