Enid: *walks over from the kitchen to sit down next to Wednesday* I can't believe you're actually wrapping presents this year

Yoko: So you performed an exorcism on your girlfriend?

Wednesday: *turns to Yoko* A pre-emptive one.

Enid: *sighs* Can't we just cuddle like normal couples?

Wednesday: Of course. If you pass the final assessment.

Enid: *runs across the Quad, until she spots Yoko* YOKO! *jumps over to her to hide behind her, whisper-shouts* I can't keep doing this.. Wednesday's blindness has turned her into some kind of.. predatory Roomba!

Enid: *glares at her* IT IS NOW! *looks around like a paranoid owl* she keeps finding me.. I'm not even talking— I'm not even moving loud!

Yoko: *nods and pets Enid's head* Maybe she's got a bat's echolocation thing going on-

Enid: *holds intense eye contact* SHE DOES. This morning she tilted her head and went 'your heartbeat is approaching. Good.'

Yoko: *gives her a thin-lipped smile and stares into nothingness* Okay yeah, that's some weird horror-movie stuff I don't want to get involved in

Wednesday: *materializes behind Enid* I told you not to flee. It is very inconvenient.

Enid: *jumps* I- I WASN'T FLEEING! I was- strategically panicking!

Yoko: *lowers her glasses* translation for Addams: Running in circles and screaming

Wednesday: *nods* I could hear her pulse ricocheting off the walls.

Enid:

Enid: HOW?!

Wednesday: Love heightens senses.

Enid: *drops*

Yoko: *looks down at her rainbow friend* She's down. She's done. *looks back up at Wednesday* you killed her

Wednesday: *picks up her girlfriend* Good. Easier to carry. *walks off with Enid slumped over her shoulder*

Wednesday: *staring at Enid from the corner of their room, silently writing something down in her notebook from time to time*

Enid: *sighs, let's her phone drop into her lap* Why are you staring at me like that?

Wednesday: I'm trying to figure out which sin you'd be.

Enid:

Wednesday: *blinks slowly* Enid.

Enid: *gasps dramatically* You paused! That's basically a yes *giggles to herself*

Wednesday: *pinches the bridge of her nose* I paused because I was calculating the most efficient way to silence you.

Enid: Awww babe! With a kiss??

Wednesday: With duct tape.

Enid: *nods* Ohhh kinky

Wednesday: *mutters under her breath* why do I speak to you?

Enid: *jumps over to the other side of the room, plopping down on Wednesday's bed* because I'm cute! And you secretly love it when I misbehave *smirks*

Wednesday: *sighs and looks up at the ceiling* I should've chosen solitude.

Wellll,, I think that they really did a great job with the writing and I must say, that I genuinely enjoyed watching it and also got my boyfriend to watch it with me (which makes me actually really proud, because he hated season 1). I do have to say that I liked part 2 more than the first part because of the pace.

There are obviously things that I thought were relatively unnecessary, but I guess in the end all of it made sense. I'm excited for season 3 and HOPE THAT WEDNESDAY CAN BRING ENID BACK

Wednesday: *looks up and stares at her for a moment* That it's remarkably difficult to focus on homicide when you won't stop smiling at me.
