it isn’t until omega dennis enters the pitt that anyone discovers what he is.

dennis can smell jack all over robby’s clothes, and for some reason, he loves it. he thinks it’s robby’s natural scent because of how much robby reeks of it, but when he meets jack for the first time, he’s absolutely overcome by it.

dennis follows the man around anytime he’s put on the night shift. jack notices the other omega’s behavior and finds it cute, but he isn’t sure how dennis would react to finding out jack isn’t an alpha like he thought he was.

dennis isn’t as oblivious as he seems. he knows jack is an omega. he doesn’t care. he can tell jack and robby are mated in some sense. he asks around, people tell him they’re in some sort of a casual relationship. that doesn’t stop dennis. in fact, it gives him hope. if it’s casual, he can weed his way in.

dennis starts scenting anything of jack’s that gets left out, and when he notices a change in robby’s behavior, he starts to scent robby’s things as well.

he does it to both of the men for three weeks before they finally confront him.

jack is dominant, firm with his words. robby is sweeter, more guiding when asking dennis what his intentions are.

it doesn’t take the older men long to figure out what dennis wants, and they’re both eager to give it to him.

Dropping more random thoughts on this au since people liked part one

- The team assuming Robert's a plant gets even funnier when they notice Blonde Blazer acting sus around him. She's way too familiar with him, which MUST mean they’ve worked together before. Either Robert was one of her employees(Prism: "she definitely sent him out on honey pot missions. Think about it. Sonar: oh I’m thinking about it.) or he was well-known in superhero circles despite being so covert, a fact none of them can verify since they're all ex-villains.

The team decides it's both. It has to be both.

- Cue Scooby Doo hijinks where they follow n try to uncover Robert's superhero identity. They get SO close to the truth multiple times and arrive at wrong conclusions.

Sonar: I've figured it out. Our dispatcher is dating Mecha Man."

Flambae: THAT FUCKER—"

-Flambae gets his own wet dream about mecha “guy who beat him up twice “ man x Bob Bobson. He nearly burns down his house.

- At one point Water Boy, whose trying to be part of the convo, stutters out that Robert climbed on his lap the first time they met so he guesses he is kinda seducey("K-kinda! He was fi-fixing my tie and his—his face was right here and—").

Everyone, including Invisigal, has to grapple with the devastating realization that Waterboy has better game than all of them.

- my AU, my house, Sonar and Coup stay on the team. There's now a race between Punch up/Coup vs Malevola/Sonar to get a threesome with Robert first.

- Invisigal still gets that movie date with Robert. She absolutely lies and tells everyone they hooked up. She likes being the alpha bitch around here.

-She is soon one upped by Phenomaman who does not know about their theories on Robert’s powers (they didn’t invite him to lunch 😔) . Phenomaman mentions that Robert is a good dispatcher who he had kissed and made love to twice. Everyone is to afraid to question it.

-they find out Robert likes brunettes. There are a series of high fives, Prism running out to grab another wig and Golem standing there sullen bc he has no hair.

he would come up behind james, hold onto his arm and call him babe. will would pretend to be his boyfriend the rest of the night, not letting up until james is on the train back to his place. they never talk about it.

james is just as bad, because he takes it a step further when pretending to be will's boyfriend. he wraps an arm around will's waist, rests his chin on will's shoulder, sometimes giving him a quick kiss on the cheek if he's feeling particularly brave. james will stay close to will the entire night, a hand on his knee or thigh, pressed up against him on the dance floor, anything to make sure no one comes up to will with intent to sleep with him.

Hear me out on an AU thought: Flambae’s father being a former villain, too.

And unlike Flambae — very proficient at it. However? Family man, through and through. Attentive, deeply caring, and overall, a really sweet guy.

Owns a bakery or a Michelin star restaurant. Sends Chad photos of stray cats with ‘this one’s meowing sounds like your first words.’

Texts Prism tea recipes for a sore throat, reminds her to eat regularly, and even sends care packages to the Z Team on occasion.

literally no one would ever figure out this man used to be one of Mecha Man’s most prolific villains.

"Ooo, Bae come take a look at this!" Prism crows excitedly as she leans back on the couch to see Flambae, who was standing in the little kitchenette of the breakroom trying to prepare his lunch.

"What? What is it? Can't you see I'm kinda busy?" Flambae says with a shooing motion, not even bothering to turn around to look at her. Too busy stirring the rice.

"Fuck you mean, busy? Just pop that shit in the microwave like the rest of us and get yo ass over here. You gonna want to see this!" She says as she turns around to kneel on the couch cushions, leaning over the back of the sofa to wave her phone in Flambae's direction.

"Fine!" Flambae rips open one of the cupboards, grabs a bowl, dumps in the rice from his metal container he's been painstakingly heating over his own flames, and shoves it in the microwave for a minute.

"I swear, if it burns..." Flambae mutters under his breath as he stalks over towards Prism who continues to grin teasingly at him.

"Who fucking cares, bae. Just take a look at this!" she says as she shoves her phone in his face.

Squinting, Flambae's eyes adjust and there in front of him is a photo of him and Robert after they'd teamed up against some of the remaining Red Ring last week. Robert is out of the Mech but still in his kevlar flight suit. He'd taken a nasty hit to the head and Flambae had been teasing the other man while trying to check he was okay. Robert can't afford another concussion.

Thankfully, the hit hadn't been too bad, but obviously someone on the street below had captured the moment, and now it was going viral online.

Prism snatches her phone back and scrolls for a second before shoving the offending piece of tech back in his face. "Look at what people are saying about it!"
