A wonderful commission I got from @hoshizoralone!

hi yall. not an easy thing to post but we could use a bit of a boost. we have a ko-fi set up for tips atm and hopefully we’ll figure out commissions for people too. Nearly left home today to escape my family in an argument that turned extreme (at first in relation to me having to come home sick) and the more I stay and have these situations with my family the more of myself I lose and consider doing dangerous things to myself, as I nearly did today.

I called my friend in a panic and he’s convinced me to stay until I can get my footing and am safe to walk out the door. He caught the whole screaming session from them through call. I don’t want to recount the details publicly but if any of you could try to help even a little it would be greatly appreciated. it is extremely common to switch careers, start new relationships, emigrate, go to college for the first or second time, or make other life-changing decisions in middle age

it's wild that I even have to spell it out, but older adults (60+) still have social lives and hobbies and interests.

you can still date when you get old. you can still fuck. you can still learn new skills, be fashionable, be competitive. you can still gossip, you can still travel, you can still read. you can still transition. you can still come out.

young doesn't mean peaked. you're inexperienced in your 20s! you're still learning and practicing! you're developing social skills and muscle memory that will last decades!
