Izzy Does An Art Thing

Forgot to post this here, but I met Matthew Lillard at Fan Expo Denver in May… This was such an amazing experience. He was so nice. I was incredibly nervous, and awkward, because I’m… me. And of course, I told him that I was nervous. He gave me a big hug and told me that it’s okay to be nervous. He asked me how I was, and I told him that I was having a really hard time lately because of my parents. He told me he hoped everything would be okay, and that he liked my name. He asked if I wanted another hug, and of course I said yes. This man is an angel. I can’t believe I got to meet him. :P

Anyway, my brain is constantly screaming.

I’ve gotten into Malevolent lately. I had a friend tell me to listen to it last year, I listened to 18 episodes, got distracted, and had to restart. But I finally caught up and finished the series. I love the characters so much. (I will be drawing them more…)

They finally released the Doctor Who series 10 soundtrack, and that inspired me to do a drawing of the 12th Doctor. I cannot explain how much this incarnation of the Doctor means to me. He’s awkward, sometimes has anger problems, and doesn’t understand people a lot of the time. But he slowly learns who he is as a person, and wants to protect those that he loves. I don’t think I’ve been so sad to see a Doctor leave the show. Peter Capaldi was amazing in the role.

I’ve been watching Twin Peaks recently. Of course I had to draw this scene… Rest in Peace, David Lynch.

Gonzo has always been my favorite muppet, and I relate to him a huge amount. So I decided to draw him, coming out of a cannon, (which I colored after the non-binary flag).

I decided to draw myself dressed as Mothman.

Happy first day of June, and start to Pride Month. It’s my first Pride being out to my parents (hopefully they turn around, as it’s been rough) Anyway, I decided to do a comic based on the last words of the Eleventh Doctor from Doctor Who. I always think about this quote, so I figured it would make a good comic!
