Soulsmake sign ups are now open!

Soulsmake is a low stakes, low pressure Life Series fandom event in which you are partnered with a random person who you have never worked with before, during which the two of you will have a month to create an AU together. The only thing you’re required to do to “complete” the event is have a conversation with your soulmate to hash out the premise and general plot of an AU, though you can create as much as you want on top of that. The purpose of Soulsmake is to make a new friend and to enjoy the process of creation.

There is no application process or creative requirement to join. All we ask is that possible participants agree to be respectful, flexible, open-minded, and willing to compromise. 

You will be working with a random partner whose interests may or may not align completely with yours. You will need to be respectful of what other participants do and do not like, flexible with your own ideas and open-minded about your soulmate’s ideas, and you and your soulmate must be willing and able to compromise when AU making. 

You will also be required to own a discord account, as the event will be run through the Soulsmake discord server. You will get the discord invite link on the confirmation page of the sign up sheet. If you are already in the discord from last year, mark that off on the form and we'll add you to the 2026 category. People who do not join the discord will not be able to receive a soulmate. If you do the form but do not join the discord, we will not hunt you down to invite you. People who do not do the form at all but somehow manage to join the discord will not be considered registered and will not receive a soulmate.

Note: as part of the pairing process, we'll ask you about your interests and what you aren't comfortable creating, to be sure all pairs are compatible. We want to encourage you to be detailed and give us a lot of room to work with in pairing you, so be sure to give yourself a few minutes to fill this form out!

Additionally, mods will be adding davies members into the 2026 event categories manually, so it may take a little while for you to be able to see the event channels, depending on mod availability. Be patient! If you aren't added to the 2026 categories after 24 hours, make a ticket in the discord!

Sign ups will run until May 2nd, but may close early if we receive more sign ups than expected. If sign ups close early OR if we get a large amount of sign ups, later dates, such as the opening and closing of the limiting phase or the soulmate announcements, may be adjusted accordingly.
