Mothable Art

Mostly making these changes to the way I make and present my art because of recent life events, and just my own musings on creativity, mental illness, trauma, and disability, and what influence all those things have on me. I've realized that the venn diagram of, 1) people who discourage me from talking about my life experiences, and 2) people who drain my creative energy and discourage my artistic expression, is basically a circle. They're the same category of negativity that I've been trying to remove from my life lately. I want to allow my art to be a space I create for myself to express all the parts of my experience, good and bad, and I want to get more vulnerable and personal with my art so here I am talking about things!! Going through the mortifying ordeal of being known and so on and so forth

Alsooo I will still continue my zodiac dragons because I still think that project idea is so fun LOL, unfortunately the Pisces and Aries and probably Taurus babies will get them very late. I want to focus on making pieces I love rather than getting them done in a certain time frame. The zodiac themed project has made me more aware of the passage of time in chunks for sure. Pisces season has unfortunately been the season of my government screwing over trans people and anthropologists, among many other groups I am a part of, and then having somebody get so mad at me for discussing world issues that they went out of their way to trigger an extreme disability of mine, message shared friends about me, and post threats to public social media pages, all while I have been handling doctor's visits and symptom management and missed work days because of the disability being triggered :'D Somebody who knows astrology has gotta let me know if there's anything to Libras being cursed during Pisces season or if Mercury has been in retrograde or something.
