I wrote a whole fic about this but I think Aaron buried all the bodies in Falcon Claw as the sole survivor and still dedicated to his people as their lord.

He used to practice doing Lily’s hair in case he had a daughter. When they had Jacob, he simply used those skills to do his wife’s hair instead. Whenever he would get really sad after she died, he would find tall grass and try to braid it, and probably eventually developed a talent to hand weave

Aaron does have a “cautionary tale/mentor” thing going on with Aphmau for a while before he ever considers her a friend. The first time he allows himself to call her a friend rather than an ally is when she starts talking about Garroth and apologizes to him for doing that. He states it’s okay because “isn’t that what friends are supposed to do?” without thinking, before having some sort of internal spiral about forming connections

Just because this is funny to me, he does get a shirt in my mind. We should give him clothing actually

Him and Laurance cannot have a normal casual conversation at all. They talk with a purpose and any time they don’t, they irritate each other so badly
