If you preordered the game, you can expect to have it in your hands at the end of April (so far, the pandemic has not been impeding our schedule).

It had been weeks almost a month since everything with vecna. You should be happy that it’s over that most your friends made it out completely unscathed, however you weren’t because your one best friend your boyfriend had disappeared. You knew where he was but he wasn’t talking to you, wasn’t even talking to Dustin,he’d go to school but it was like you’d be non existent.

You felt bad following your boyfriend around like you were some stalker but you wanted to know what happened and you wanted to know now. When you followed him to the group of woods where will first went missing you thought he was crazy. Yet and still you hopped over the small metal barrier and followed him down and deep into the woods until you got lost.

It felt like someone was watching you, you looked around but everything looked the same. Same trees,same leaves,same bark,same logs,same rocks. You jumped hearing the sound of leaves crack. “Eddie?” You called out looking in the direction you went to step towards the sound. In what felt like a flash you were pinned to a tree by a man, he was shorter just barely messy brown hair sat on top of his head. His hand was around your throat and he was squeezing so tight your brain was becoming muffled. You clawed at his wrist and he lifted you up off the ground sliding you up the tree.

The man’s eyes were deep red and you could’ve swore you saw actual fangs coming from his front row of teeth. He spoke but you couldn’t hear him. Your ears were buzzing with lack of oxygen and blood pumping. In the same flash the man was tackled down and you dropped to the the leaf covered floor. You started coughing and gasping for breath your vision finally refocusing.

It was eddie. Eddie was on top of the man that attacked you. “Eddie..” you breathed out and he glanced back at you. He looked the same. Eyes red and fangs out on the front sides of his teeth. The other man shoved Eddie off standing up and swiping off his clothes. You finally registered who it was. “Gareth?” You questioned and he looked up at you the fangs disappeared and his eyes shifted back to normal.

“Fuck. You scared us” he huffed as Eddie made his way over to you. His eyes were back to his soft brown the fangs gone. “Eddie? What…what was that?” He sighed and pulled you to his chest looking over at his friend. “I’ve got explaining to do, I know. Let’s just get you safe before more come” you furrowed your brows as he walked back through the forest “more?? More what??” “Vampires.” Gareth said calmly as he followed the pair of you back to his van.

“Here, take her car back to her house” Eddie said grabbing the keys from your coat pocket and handing them to Gareth. “Whoa,whoa where’s the party going?” You saw Eddie visibly stiffen at the voice. You turned around and Eddie stepped in front of you arm wrapping back around your waist. “Orion” he muttered and you looked between the two men.

Orion was just as if not slightly taller then eddie he had short chin length blonde hair and the most dazzling pair of blue eyes you’d ever seen. You could see a few tattoos peaking out of the sleeves of his shirt.

“Eddie! Let me meet your friend” in a flash he was closer standing in front of eddie. “She smells delicious” eddie narrowed his eyes “don’t you Fucking dare. She’s mine.” He huffed out shooting daggers into the man with his eyes. “Whoa, calm down there mr. aggressive. I just wanna look” the man smiled and you shivered hiding your face in Eddie’s back.

“Shy little thing.” Orion went to step around eddie but eddie slid over blocking him from you once again. “You’re looking. Not touching.” He said sternly “she’s yours? She doesn’t smell like it.” Eddie huffed “yeah. Because I don’t drink from humans. You know that.” His tone was deep and laced with anger. “Baby, get in the van” he said and you looked back up at Orion before you slipped your hand into his pocket and grabbed his keys.

You stepped away from Eddie and Gareth was on you leading you to the van. You slid inside and passed him the other set of keys. “I’m gonna lock this. You’ll be okay” he said gently rubbing a hand on your knee before he closed and locked the van. You heard a thud and glanced up long enough to see Eddie on top of Orion, what looked to be a knife held to his throat. He mumbled something at him and kicked his side before turning to walk away.

Once he was in the van you looked over at him “what did you do?” You asked and you saw the cut on his arm. “Eddie!” You squealed and reached for him but he backed away. “Let’s just get you back to my place before he gets back up.” You nodded and stayed quiet the rest of the way. Gareth followed you to Eddie’s and then left to get your car back home.

You sat in silence for a long moment before Eddie finally broke it. “Baby, say something. Please.” You didn’t know what to say. Your mind was running with so many questions at once you didn’t know where to start. “Just look at me, please.” Eddie’s voice was soft and strained like he was trying not to cry.

Your eyes snapped to his and that’s where they stayed for a few minutes. Just the two of you,existing, staring into each other’s eyes. “Are you okay?” You finally asked and Eddie’s eyes raised in confusion “what?” You took a deep, shaky breath. “Are you okay?” He nodded slowly.

“Are you…did you-…” you couldn’t get it out from fear of crying. “Yes.” He said and you took a deep breath “technically I’m dead. Yes.” You let out a squeak of a gasp. “How…how’d you..” Eddie finally sat down next to you. “The attack with the bats? It killed me. There’s was a doctor at the hospital. He claimed he could fix me, heal me, make me stronger I just had to agree to it.” You Kept your head pointed at your feet listening clearly to him.

“I asked what he meant of course. He said he could give me a blood transfusion,of his sons blood. He explained to me what would happen and he explained what I would need to do to survive. I understood and I agreed.” “Why would you do that!” You finally broke. You weren’t sad or hurt you were angry. Pissed. He’s been lying to you for weeks, months almost. He’s been lying to you since day Fucking one.

“For you! I couldn’t leave you! I love you!” He yelled back at you “are you seriously mad at me right now? I did this for you!” You stood up and scoffed “you did this for yourself Eddie! You saved yourself!” “You’d rather me have died??!” He accused and you shook your head “of course not! Of course I wouldn’t want you to die but Eddie…Eddie this isn’t much better! You still died!” You barked back. He was now standing as well. “But I’m here! I’m still breathing! I’m still….I’m still me.” You took a deep breath your adrenaline still pumping.

“What about Gareth? Did…did you do that to him?” Eddie didn’t say anything and you gasped tears pricking your eyes. “You….Eddie you killed him?” “No!” Eddie immediately defended “I didn’t hurt him. I…” Eddie looked up at you and saw the tears. Saw the hurt. Hell he could feel it. Hear the way your heart was beating,your blood pumping through you a million miles a minute. How much more could you take before you were done? If he was completely honest could you handle what he would say.

“You need to calm down” Eddie said and you huffed “just tell me.” Eddie shook his head “no, your heart is beating too fast.” You sighed and stared at him. “Gareth got hurt, I turned him so he would survive. I don’t kill humans. I hunt animals. Yes I have advanced abilities.” You watched him ramble off answers to everything you were thinking. “..no a wooden steak won’t kill me and yes, I just read your mind” you stared wide eyed at him.

“I’m still me. I swear. I haven’t changed all that much. I can..I can still eat regular food I still feel The same and want the same things. I’m still the guy you love I promise you I’m not-” Eddie’s rant stopped mid sentence when you threw your arms around him. You hugged him tightly as tight as you could. He was cold, you couldn’t feel his heart beating. Eddie stood shocked for a minute before he joined in hugging you just as tight.

You pulled away after a minute and punched his arm “you could’ve just told me! After the shit I dealt with in the upside down this is the least of my worries!” He smiled and held his arm where you hit him. “I was scared you’d leave.” You looked at him “I was about to! You’ve ignored me for almost a month! I couldn’t even touch you!” Eddie’s cheeks flushed and you sighed. “I wouldn’t ever willingly leave you Ed’s. I love you with my whole heart. Nothing will change that, not even you becoming a vampire” he nodded and you smiled at him.

“What’s with that Orion guy?” Eddie rolled his eyes “that would be one of the first ones who got changed. He thinks because he’s one of the first turned he has some right above us younger ones.” You nodded “he hunts humans?” Eddie nodded “most of us don’t. We hunt animals, human blood has its qualities though.” You sat down “like?” Eddie rubbed the back of his neck “like you become stronger,your powers are more intense,you heal quicker.” You hummed “and what’s with the whole scent thing?” Eddie walked around into his kitchen grabbing a mug from the cabinet. “Vampires can have what’s considered a blood slave. Humans can Agree to let a vampire drink their blood, in return they normally get something from the vampire.” He filled the mug with juice.

“Vampires when they drink your blood some of the venom we use to turn humans drips into your blood stream putting our scent on you.” He handed you the cup and you looked at him. “So now that Orions smelled me and knows I’m not yours..?” “He wants to kill you.” You nodded and sipped the juice. “Why me?” You questioned. “Well because you smell unusually sweet. Your blood smells like something from a bakery it’s the most intoxicating smell.” You looked over at him.

“You smell my blood?” He nods “most vampires can. That’s how they hunt.” You hum. You looked down seeing the purpling mark of his cut. “Why hasn’t it healed?” You asked sitting the mug down. “Because like I said since I drink animal blood it takes longer.” You furrow your brows. Eddie looks up at you and shakes his head “no. I’m not drinking from you.” You huffed “but if I give you consent then it’s fine.” Eddie shook his head.

“Eddie…what if…what if I wanted to become your blood slave? What if I wanted that?” Eddie swallowed thickly “baby you don’t understand.” You reached out your hands touching his knees. “Then teach me. Eddie if drinking from me can help then do it.” Eddie stared at you for a long moment. “Are you entirely sure?” You nod “i trust you eddie.” His eyes locked in on your neck and you glanced down before tugging your coat off so your neck was on full display.

Eddie’s breath caught in his throat. He wasn’t sure what to do, you smell so Fucking good, you were saying he could do it. He can do it.

Eddie’s head dipped down to your neck “there’s no turning back after this.” You nodded your thighs pressing together. Eddie’s lips kissed your skin first, soft and gentle. His hand came up and held the other side of your neck gently, not to harm you but to just keep you in place. You could hear the soft gasp that sounded before you felt the prick of his fangs into your neck.
