With the new Odyssey movie coming out, I feel the need to remind people that EPIC was an artistic passion project made by a one (1) guy who loves the Odyssey/Iliad. It was never meant to be a faithful adaptation and comparing its so-called “shortcomings” to a mega Hollywood production with an over 200 million dollar budget and acting like it’s somehow more offensive or just as bad of an adaption is insane
Dislike EPIC if you want, I really don’t care, but the way y’all treat artists (especially indie ones) just because something they made isn’t to your taste is really gross imo
