Hells yeah

For a change of pace I've put together a small CSM warband. It's been good fun but I'm definitely keen to get back to the Great Green now these are done.

Their home system was swallowed as Gork's Grin split the galaxy, brothers were scattered to the warp. The Ossian Inheritors turned in desperation to the ruinous powers. In return, they received profane gifts that ensured their survival in the face of catastrophe.

These 3 were good fun to kitbash, and I learned a good bit about my approach to painting as I worked my way through the squad.

At some point I hope to wrap my head around the rules of kill team so I can get them on the tabletop.

Ok, so I'm a wee bit hyper-fixated on Orks for the upcoming Armageddon 40k box.

Just a tad... :3

So, to empty my brain-hole a little, here's a wishlist of stuff I'd love to see get re-released from the good old days of yore.

Number one is THIS bad boy; the Skorcher (dunno why they needed to add Wartrak to it here). With the new Wartrak model confirmed as Easy-to-Build in the Armageddon box, I'm hopeful we will see a new Wartrak/Skorcher duel kit as well at some point. And I hope it looks very similar to the oldskool one; trashcan flamer turret and all.

Number two; I want to see some Madboyz with some proper models too. Now that the Weirdboy is finally in plastic its the perfect time to set us up with some legit Madboyz. They're the REAL unit a Weirdboy should lead.

I thought there'd be more of the old Ork stuff that needed to be brought back, but that's it from 2nd edition really. Maybe they could bring back Snotlings and incorporate them proper with the Shokk Attack Gun?

Numbers three and four would be new kits for Burna Boyz and Lootas... One that gets rid of the asinine Spanna - they're so annoying; the Spanna is not a Nob he's just a tacked on extra model you have to take and who isn't armed like the rest of the unit. Get rid of him and include a Burna/Loota Nob armed like the rest of the unit. That'd be sweet!

That Wartrakk Scorcher had better make a comeback, the design is inspired.

Having just read Engine of Mork, I fully agree about the need for Madboys - they go a long way to support the schemes of an ambitious Mek. Oddboys everywhere deserve to have a few Madboys backing them up. (I'm also a sucker for a random attribute table, so hopefully they'd bring that back too).

Spannas leaving the burna boys/lootas in favour of a burna/loota nob is also a shout. Spannas could be a lieutenant unit for Mekky mobs - we've got a big boss coming to do that job for the boys so why not a junkyard counterpart?

What's the point of going fast if you're not gonna ramp off stuff at every opportunity?

A bit of elf'n'safety advice for you, too much super glue can react with the glue in corkboard to produce nasty fumes.

I'm no doc, but I don't reckon they're very good for humies, so try not to use too much & make sure your workspace has a bit of fresh air coming in when you're using chemicals
