-he's hardworking, and doing pretty well at school (hanschen cheats off of him)

-pretty annoyed by Moritz. Thinks he's a stupid and lazy loser and should just try harder.

-doesn't reaaally have a lot of friends at least not any of the shown characters in the show, is mostly with Georg, though they don't really talk. Their parents are friends so they just Know eachother like that. -he also thinks Hanschen is cool, but a little obnoxious. Would like to get closer to him, but is too busy with school work and caring for his family.

-Also last rehearsal during the funeral scene I suddenly noticed the Hanschen and Ernst held hands for a short bit, so I decided that Otto has a vague idea that there's *something* going on there, though he can't quite tell what.

-more serious stuff, I imagine he's lost his dad/his dad left and that he had a brother that passed away due to illness. That brother was the oldest child, he has a sister that's second oldest and Otto is third oldest. He has 4 other siblings.

Because of the absence of the father and being the remaining eldest man in the house, his mom really leans on him, as she's trying to replace his father with him. Otto is just trying to make sure everyone in the family is okay and is very confused by everything that is going on.

Otto really does want to fill the role of his father, but at the same time is going through puberty and is very confused when his mom is the closest woman to him there is.

-Otto and Marianna Wheelan have known eachother for really long, maybe played together a few times as kids. Otto has always had a slight crush on her but they never talk anymore, and Otto doesn't really know how to.
