The Widow’s Husband - Sherlock&Natasha

She heard his screams and cries from the hallways. The sickening thud of metal on flesh, the pop of bones breaking. It was all too familiar. The sounds of a tortured man. 

Twenty people were between her and him. Plus ten more inside. All armed. All dangerous. But nothing would stop her from getting to him. Nothing would be enough to stop her. 

Layer after layer, from scaffolding onto storage hallways, she ran. The Black Widow left a trail of bodies behind her. Dead or alive, concussed or battered, it didn’t matter at this point. Time was of the essence if she wanted to get there before the screams stopped. Before the beautiful mind and body of Sherlock Holmes stopped too. 

Natasha Romanov-Holmes burst into the warehouse storage unit, swinging in through a recently exploded section of the wall, barely giving the bloody but still breathing body of her Sherlock Holmes a second look. She couldn’t. It was too painful and distracting. Later, she’d carefully tend to him. But now was time to work. She fired two bullets, taking out the two men holding Sherlock’s shoulders. Everyone’s eyes whipped over to her. No one moved. 

“Now that I have your attention, I am here for my husband.”

He had that wild look in his eyes again one she recognized all too well and said “we are the same, you know…” part human part animal starving hearts hungry mouths he said “show me” so she gathered him up kissed him tenderly then devoured him.
