As some of you probably already know, the iconic actress Shelley Duvall is in serious trouble and needs help. Shelley made her film debut in the amazing movie Brewster McCloud (1970). You may have seen her in other iconic pictures such as 3 Women (1977), Popeye (1980), and, needless to say, The Shining (1980). She is also known for producing the children’s television series Faerie Tale Theatre in the 80s, a work which earned her an Emmy nomination.

However, as of the early 2000s, after leaving the movie industry, Shelley has lived as a recluse. She made headlines again last November, when she appeared on the exploitive, popular tv program Dr. Phil. Shelley acknowledge the fact that she is struggling with mental illness. However, she cannot afford professional help at the moment.
