hm. not mincraft related at all but does anyone remember that bloxwatch myth/creepypasta from like, 2018 or so in roblox? about how some of the stars in the skybox were actually eyes watching you. or something

bloxwatch mentioned...i was like. genuinely scared of getting my acc banned by them back in the day LMAO iirc there was something about there being different kinds?? like there were the basic white ones that just watched you but there were also red and yellow variants that were like. more dangerous? gods i miss roblox myths ..

YEAH there was something about the red ones being something about how you'd get banned or your account would be stolen??? in hindsight it was kinda funny

i think the lore was that the yellow one was like. warning you? or smth?? and then if you kept investigating/playing the game the red one would show up and permaban your ip also im pretty sure that the guy who made the last guest also made a bloxwatch series so. thats neat. !!

roblox myths are always so fascinating to me i wish i remembered more of them

i miss the days when you could just like. pop into a spooky game(tm) and the spooky guy(tm) would just be hanging out there talking with random players there are a few interesting myths still going but none of them really have the charm that it all used to have? might just be nostalgia speaking though

i think they dont have the same charm because nowadays pretty much everyone knows how games work (this goes for every game) so people don't just believe it the same way they used to. bloxwatch was really easy to believe because sometimes the stars in the skybox DID look like eyes, but when you play roblox for a while you start to learn how the base game engine works, and you start to only believe in myths as a "yeah that seems like a fun myth, why not" way instead of genuinely believing them
