small gene x vylad scenarios i tend to think about a lotttt,,, hehehe
🩶 they go on a zoo date and every now and then gene will point at an animal and go "i could take that in a fight" just to make vylad laugh. if it's an animal that's known for being particularly tough and deadly, vylad makes him explain his step-by-step process for winning against it and he either comes up with the perfect plan or gives in and admits he dies
💚 okay the florist/tattoo artist au wasn't just a joke. vylad works at a tattoo parlor just across the street from gene's mom's flower shop and gene will stare wistfully out the window while fiddling with an arrangement or a potted shrub into the front room of the parlor, where every now and then vylad will step out to meet his next appointment or go on break. and gene's just waiting for one of those opportunities to see him for the day. and he's crushing so bad on a guy he's never even talked to once and he feels like a Loser. all the while he never notices vylad is lowkey doing the exact same thing. the Only reason he steps out to the front room is to catch a glimpse of gene while he's busy around the shop, or tending to the pots outside. they're idiots <3
🩶 sometimes they'll have a type of date night where one (or both!) of them will take a cat potion and just get up to all sorts of kitty shenanigans together >:3c like if it's vylad as the kitty, he likes to play tag and be a general menace; and if it's gene, he will prefer to laze about and be pampered- but if vylad compliments him at all or tries to be too sweet, he initiates Attack Mode. and every part of vylad's body is marked for The Hunt. but when it's the two of them, they both get into dangerous adventures together. sasha and zenix will literally kick them out of the house for the night because they are too much. and they will run off for a while to explore the neighborhood or city as kitties or bother their neighbours
💚 them being in bed late at night, where vylad's sitting up awake on his laptop or reading or smthn and gene's asleep nestled into his side, arm around his waste bc he's a big ol' cuddly fucker
🩶 uniform swap day at the maid cafe. enough said
💚 also indirect flirting at the nightclub that makes sasha and zenix want to strangle the both of them
🩶 they run into a stray cat and it actually lets gene crouch down and pet it, and vylad in turn can't resist petting him

🩶 gene takes vylad on a very cheesy date where they pick up a bag of corner store snacks, hop a fence, and have a picnic on top of a park/cemetery shed
💚 vylad takes gene through the forest to go foraging and mushroom hunting and gene gets increasingly shocked by how many fuckin wild animals start following vylad around
🩶 i dont really think abt them in my Holy Shit It's A A Fucking Celestial Apocalypse au really- but liiiiikee the potential there is Crazyyyy. like, gene is now Corrupted Demon Knight from Actual Hell and vylad is Possessed with Powers gifted from a Past Life in which he can soul bind n shit and has the potential to turn people back from all the monsters theyve been turned into. however, vylad is like. The Most Vulnerable to that specific corruption and cant get too close to them otherwise he will become Corrupted too. but FUCK he WANTS his god damn BOYFRIEND BACK. so his fingers have sort of already split away to unsheathe claws and his tongue has rotted from his mouth because he got too close once already and theyre very sad. also the allegories here are insane too. like oh your past has quite literally come back to haunt you and turned you into a most vile fucking beast okay well i love you anyway and you deserved to be saved. i dont care how hard you fight and curl away i've seen what you are and you deserve to be saved. fucker. soul blasts you
💚 hot hot hot summer day of sitting in front of the open fridge eating popsicles and watermelon and reading the jokes off the popsicle sticks until sasha and zenix get sick of them and leave
🩶 and alternatively, cold cold winter of snuggling up on a blanket nest in front of the fireplace and playing co-op games while eating warm stew
