As much as I love brainrotted sonic (my beloved), I have a head-canon that I much prefer the notion that he has ZERO idea about what the hell is going on in the internet, like, if you went over to him to ask about internet slang he would be equally as confused as shadow would be, he spends most of his time outside and only uses the internet to look for some recipes for hot dogs to compare to his perfected chili dog recipe or something, which explains why it feels so weird to hear sonic talk like a YouTube gamer or a brainrotted dude, that mfer speaks like he has no idea what the hell he is saying, he is reading a script and you can easily tell, he's the one going over to tails trying to understand what those teens said to him on his way back to tails' place.

Obviously I love every picture of them together but this one has to be my favorite
