so i had an idea while thinking abt jarthur last night, and that idea was: what if john ended up in hasturs body in the dark world? so! drawing idea: arthur and john (in hasturs body ofc) reuniting in the dark world (in the bone citadel (optional))

just imagine: the pure panic john has when he wakes up in hasturs body, when he wakes up surrounded by the bones of thousands arthurs, all killed by his own hands, with his arthur nowhere in sight, is he not in the dark world? did he go somewhere else? where did he go? where could he go?

and then the absolute fear arthur would have, in my mind i kept going over if he'd be blind or not and if he was itd be horrible. hed eventually make it to the bell, of course, but hed be much worse off. even with his sight he wouldnt come out unscathed, and this being the first thing he sees in months? horrifying.

but then they find each other, and arthur sees him and john ca hold him but what if hes scared to hold him? the only arthurs thatve interacted with this body lay around them, building the walls and floors they stand on, but arthur doesnt care. he doesnt care if his death is johns worst fear, because they did die, and that didnt keep them apart
