Music is like a dream

Okay, here is the deal i grew up in a Mexican household. We Mexicans love family gatherings basically every weekends. This includes immediate family members as well as uncles, aunts, cousins, EVERYBODY. i have an uncle that grew up in México City. My uncle has a to this day a taste for whats called cumbia sonidera. for those who have never heard of cumbia sonidera allow me to copy paste. “Cumbia is a music style that originated in the Pacific coast of Colombia and Panama. A sonidero in Mexico City is a particular type of Cumbia dj usually named Sonido something. They are known for a strong use of the microphone with comments and greetings with a very characteristic tone, their relationship with the dancers of some neighbourhoods of Mexico City, and for slowing down Cumbias” anyway i would definitely categorize this song as a cumbia sonidera and it 100% reminds me of my uncle. I have heard from Juanes and for the most part i really enjoy his music. When it comes to Raymix, this is the first time i hear from him. After hearing this song on repeat while i write this i would for sure say its growing on me but i do have a conflict with sonidero. I have bitched to many times about it to my family that if they heard me listening to this they would say something like “ohhhhh i thought you didnt like sonideroooo” so yeah i just think it would be embarrassing so i will qualify this song as a guilty pleasure. if any of you want to read more into it i will leave the link from where i got the definition of cumbia sonidera. 8.5/10
