Moonbase 10

Alright goddammit...its time to get the Moonbase cruising at light speed again.  Today I started doodling on the tablet and I think I struck a nerve.  Expect a bunch of future posts as I'm feeling the drawing bug once again.  Expect some new Lovecraft, more than likely some Breaking Bad stuff (just tore through the first 4 seasons) and possibly even a new web comic.  New as in BRAND NEW.  Sorry Franc and Drac fans, but they are still on the backburner for now.  First new post hopefully tomorrow night sometime.

Watched Pulp Fiction after work...this happened.

Did a quick piece this afternoon after work.  I guess I have to do Van Cleef and Wallach now as well.

Originally this one was going to have some depiction of Cthulhu in the water but I felt the empty deep was foreboding enough.

Next in the series.  Gonna try to knock one more out tonight...

Did another Lovecraft poster.  Think this is gonna be a thing for a while so look out for more...going to Austin for a few days so probably Sunday till another shows up.  Thinking either Shadow Over Innsmouth or Mountains of Madness.  Stay tuned.

My brain is crashing hard.  This week needs to end NOW.  For some reason after the madness of the last two days I got hit with the creative bug and started sketching this afternoon.  It started out as just a doodle, then it was going to be the Bride of Frankenstein...and it was the Bride all the way through the figure being sketched out...then I began seeing the form differently and armor started getting added and bam...Samus Aran.  If it were Friday I would take a break, do something else, then go all night to finish this, but I need rest.  I have one more day that hopefully won't live up to the last two.  This will be finished this weekend though, I think its coming out great.

This started out as me just randomly sketching to think of ideas for a new episode of Frank & Drac...somehow Predator got involved and his design slowly became more and more college professor-ish.  I liked the little sketch of Professor Predator so much I decided to make a full blown drawing.  Enjoy.
