Soooo long time, no post~ haha

Long in the short, I've been going through a lot since my last svsss lbh pov chapter update (both good and bad, but I won't trouble you with the details rn). Though I haven't been able to post, this fic has been constantly on my mind. I am going to be editing my posted chapters (mostly just grammar/spelling/punctuation corrections and the occasional change of descriptions) and then finally get back to posting updates. I have a rough outline and ideas already penned, it's just having the time to get it all together and refined.

I appreciate all the support my fic has received thus far <3 I've been reading your comments even when I haven't been able to reply to them and your kindness and compliments mean the world to me, truly <3 Writing this fic is a fun exercise in analyzing the text and I'm so glad it has connected with y'all <3 I'll reply to comments all in mass as I get back into the swing of things!

I can't say how quickly this will happen as I am still in the middle of a lot of stuff that requires much of my time and attention, but I'll try to make sure Binghe isn't left suspended in the Endless Abyss for too much longer ^^;

Speaking of Swiftie LBH, I must say SY deserves to jam out to shitty pop. I think he’d be one of those people that’s like “I hate modern pop it’s so bland and predictable” while also being able to sing the lyrics of every top 40 track. He deserves to Blast Tzuyu’s lazy baby while he’s hatereading. But also, in an idol au…people underestimate the level of hater SY is. SY is hating the group under the ceo airplane (he’s more of a figurehead at this point aesthetically, mainly deals with financial side of business) because he thinks the company is bad but he’s like certain…kpop Stan’s… who think they’re above that and listen to the music because they have to review it

Omg yesss! Shen Yuan would be the biggest hater of modern pop, listening to every new entry on the top 40 (or even the top 100) because he has to know if it's actually a good song this time. (So many get co close and yet fall so flat! How hard is it to write a good song??) He'd only ever listen to it in public settings if Luo Binghe was the one to turn it on because even if Shen Yuan "doesn't like it", he'd never shit on Binghe's music tastes. Binghe's perfect, so whatever he listens to has to be at least palatable enough to "tolerate". Meanwhile, Binghe only likes it because he overheard Shen Yuan humming the tunes and discovered the not so secret collection of limited edition cds and other memorabilia Shen Yuan has.

I can totally see him being the same way in an idol au! Especially if Binghe is a member of said group. He'd be the only one that Shen Yuan would listen for, watching Luo Binghe rise in the ranks until he is the shining star of the group that Shen Yuan always thought he would be. For years he would be spewing hate comments towards the company and idol group for their poor decisions while also praising every little thing Luo Binghe does to encourage him to reach the stardom that he deserves.

Unbeknownst to Shen Yuan, Luo Binghe falls head over heels for this persistent cheerleader, swearing that he will find this mystery fan and marry them if it's the last thing he does!

What if during the years Luo Binghe was in the Endless Abyss, Shen Qingqiu not only knelt at the sword mound, but he also started planting white lotuses around the Peak?

It would start slow, just a few lotuses appearing in places they hadn't before, but they were so sparse that no one really took much notice. If they did, who would complain? It was just a flower and a lovely one at that. Their Shizun surely wouldn't mind the sight of them. He had been so distraught after the conference... Best to not trouble him with something so inconsequential.

Slowly more and more of those lotuses began to pop up, spreading to every lake and pond on the Peak. That couldn't be an accident. Never had lotuses grown on Qing Jing Peak before. Perhaps their Shizun commissioned An Ding to plant the lotuses, but for what reason they didn't know. Their Shizun had developed more of an interest in beasts than flora, but even that passion was smothered by his grief. Whatever the reason for the flowers, they must be special.

It wasn't until Ning Yingying informed her shixiong that she had been assisting the Peak Lord in cultivating the lotuses, hoping that it would ease his troubled heart. He had lost his most favored disciple and even after a year, their Shizun still knelt every day at the sword mound when he wasn't avoiding the memories haunting him on the Peak (though they would never speak of such things around their Shizun out of courtesy).

And so, they said nothing about the lotuses. If gardening and caring for the flowers that overtook their lakes and ponds brought comfort to the grieving heart of their Shizun, who were they to rob him of it? He was still in mourning, but when they did chance at seeing him caring so tenderly for the blossoming lotuses, they could see a little bit of that old light return to him, even for just a moment.

At some point, even the common people in the surrounding villages began to whisper about the widow of Qing Jing Peak, endlessly beautiful in his mourning amongst the tall bamboo and pure as snow lotus blooms.

if you’re reading svsss, i recommend that whenever shen qingqiu does something silly/stupid (so affectionate)/weird you just sigh wistfully and say “oh, shizun…” with a helpless smile on your face. it will unlock something in your brain. i promise this is a universal experience. there are zero exceptions.

SVSSS Magical Pokemon Journey AU (kinda), just hear me out here

Okay, so Luo Binghe where he's constantly stalking hanging out with Shen Yuan/Shen Qingqiu as his friend/apprentice/whatever makes sense for how big you make the age gap here. In any case, he is always looking for ways to court his oblivious beloved to no avail. Just what about a rose trail leading to a candlelit picnic is helpful for luring a luminescent 1000 horned leopard stag?? That food was for Yuan-ge!!!

Liu Qingge is always foiling Luo Binghe's plans. How? Idk, have some fun here, but Luo Binghe is for sure not having fun lol

Shen Yuan is as oblivious as ever, committed to completing his pokedex bestiary with his two favorite people. Luo Binghe is such a sweet bun! So considerate to try and help him research such dangerous beasts! So brave of him! And look at Liu Qingge being so helpful, but could he stop killing the beasts?? We're researching them, not hunting them!! And lay off his little white lotus, he's harmless!

Then there's Shang Qinghua in the background watching this shit-show just munching on melon seeds because he's so done trying to state the obvious. What would he know about romance? Everything is totally "platonic" here... Whatever you say Cucumber-bro... (≖_≖ )

Silly bingqiu idea: Binghe is worried shizun has someone on the side... CLEANING for him

He knows sqq is super loyal (shizun says in his hometown people don't have harems! They marry one person for life! How romantic!) so he will never worry about shizun looking at another person that way.

BUT. He refuses to let anyone else clean or cook for his husband!! BINGHE is the wife! HIM.

Just thinking of a lot of "cheating tropes" but they're turned really silly and ridiculous. Instead of finding lipstick on shizuns collar, he smells the robe and goes "Who washed this!? I don't use this detergent!!"

He'll see food in the kitchen and start crying "shizun ate another man's cooking!? In OUR HOME!?"

He can't accompany shizun on a mission because he has work in the demon realm, and he's stuck on the throne holding his head in his hands wondering if shizun is using this business trip to, gasp, frequent those terrible establishments. (Restaurants)

Meanwhile shen Yuan feels super bad about binghe having to do everything around the house, so he's slowly been trying to help more. He tried washing his own clothes and cooking a bit, but binghe seems to hate it. He must be really awful at chores! Hopefully he'll get better with practice
